Bad smells from the kitchen! Don't they ever change the mats? Yucky old fish smells all the way down the hall to the restrooms.

Lunch in Poulsbo while shopping the shops is an opportunity to choose from among many eateries. We were hungry and JJ's Fish House opened a bit earlier than many of the others. Lucky for us. This is a nice place; open, lots of light, seating available at tables or booths. We were greeted at the door and took a table.... More

Looked around and saw many having the fish and chips (fresh cod) and decided to try them, comes with fries and coleslaw. Nothing fancy about this place but the dish was excellent. Friendly servers and hostess served local beers on draft from Sound and others. They are supposedly known for their clam chowder but I found it lacking in seasoning... More

This is our "go-to" restaurant when we have friends visiting. The food is consistently very good. Our out-of-state friends get a really good feel for our local area and the food we serve. The fish is always a favorite.

We stopped for lunch. The food was wonderful. The waitress was friendly and never allowed our glasses to go empty. We had a great view from our table by the window and were entertained by various individuals who visited the park across the street. We will stop here next time we are in the area.

This is a great little casual restaurant on the waterfront at Liberty Bay. Outside dining in the good weather. Comfortable atmosphere and good service. One of my favorites in town.

My wife and I moved to the Kitsap Peninsula from Colorado 2 months ago. After not being very impressed with the Silverdale restaurants we decided to try some of the Poulsbo restaurants. We went to J J's Fish House for lunch in early December. We ordered the fish and chips which were very good with light batter and not greasy.... More

My family thoroughly enjoyed our visit to JJ's. We all had Fish-n-Chips and thought they were delicious - fish was light and flaky and not greasy. Nice selection of draft beers.

So, we landed in Poulsbo, WA unexpectedly today because the USS Turner Joy was closed (Winter hours!).... after we met an old school friend, we headed to J J's Fishhouse for lunch and it met expectations with simple fish and chips for dad and husband and more complex meals for mom and son! Both my dad (an old Washington State... More
