Always dependably good Chicken Teriyaki. The rice is perfect, the vegetables done just right, the sauce is the best. And the service from the staff hasn't failed me yet.

The portions aren't as good as they used to be. The service is friendly. They have an aquarium the kids might like spending a moment looking at while waiting for the food.

We used to stop at Happy Teriyaki at least once a week while living in the Puyallup area, but have retired and moved to Ocean Shores and find that we really miss their wonderful, freshly prepared, high quality food. Any time we're back in the area we stop for lunch and/or take food back to the beach with us. The... More

Stopped in for lunch and ordered a large platter ( Happy eleven) of food so our daughter could have some take home food. It was pretty good but if we were alone would have picked something different.

I used to live in puyallup off of river road and often went to happy teriyaki. Then I moved to the Bonney Lake area and tried several places on the plateau. Nothing compared to happy teriyaki, we always order chicken teriyaki and chicken tonkatsu they are both very good. I can't speak of the rest of their menu since I... More

Love this place, always fresh food and great service. It's busy and a good buzz about it. The interior design isn't like your other teriyaki restaurants, it's charming and even has a koi fish pond. Definitely a must eat.

The food and portions are always amazing when I visit here. I only go about once a year when I'm in town but I make sure I eat here. The only down side is the young servers can be a bit slow and inconsistent but everything else is top notch!

This HT in Puyallup has always been head and shoulders above the rest. We had six in our party. Ordered two Happy Trios, two veg tempuras, and two chicken oriental salads. We gorged and had plenty left for two take home boxes. Tempura was very light and tasty, and teriyaki chicken also as good as ever. Restaurant was somewhat crowded... More

My wife & I are regulars here. We are never disappointed. Servings are very generous, food is good, & a great value for the money. We just need to try some of the other selections. We always do carry out, so can't comment on service. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

We're Asian. We own our own restaurant. We travel extensively and eat out almost 90 percent of the time. Happy Teriyaki was always one of our favorites. We pass through Puyallup once a year for busines and love the place so much we often eat here several times a week when we are in town. But, we were really disappointed... More
