They have a sign that says "we can't promise fast but we promise good" or something to that effect. In hindsight, it's a convenient "pre-excuse" when they can't get their act together. So, we lowered our expectations for the wait to get our simple orders of eggs & bacon, French toast, and breakfast sandwich. It was early in the morning... More

We went there for souvenir and found out they have a varieties of food in the back, so we went for lunch. Both of our hamburgers with fries were very good and fresh. It was reasonably priced. The staff and cook were very friendly and helpful, also.

I bought a good bear with the Native American bear symbol behind it. It was a good deal. They also carry books, post cards, key chains, magnets and food.

The Quinault Mercantile has pretty much everything you should brought but didn't. Need a t-shirt or light rain jacket? It's here. Need some trail mix for your hike? Got it. Need wine for the after-activity relaxation? Got it and it's waaaay more affordable than having a glass or 2 at any local restaurant. This place isn't fancy, but if you... More

The Mercantile is only about a block down the road from the Quinault Lodge - there are not many other options nearby for supplies. We used the Mercantile for bread, milk, and ice.

The Mercantile looks like just a general store, but when you go inside, the little cafe is serving up some yummy food! Super friendly staff, delicious curly fries and a great beer selection. I don't think you can ask for more from a small road-side stop! Two thumbs up!!

Inside the Store is the Merc, restaurant. No frills, but very decent food. Service was a bit slow but as they say themselves "We can't promise fast but we can promise good". To my surprise they have wifi.

We arrived in Quinault in pouring rain...too early to check into the lodge. We wandered across the street to check out the mercantile. It had Everything you might need for camping, hiking or staying in the area. They also had a small restaurant that served snacks, hot/cold items, soup etc. We had a snack while we planned what we were... More
