Reviewed yesterday NEW

Had dinner and breakfast here. Overall, a beautiful dining room worthy of a 5-star restaurant but the service and quality of food is more like a 3-star restaurant. For dinner, I had the duck breast; it was tough and chewy and the presentation a bit sloppy, not worth the $30+ they charged. My wife ordered the elk burger and it... More

We had an Easter dinner at the Roosevelt room. The dinner salad was excellent and so was the Hot bread. The food was very good but my fillet was chewy. My son loved the mushroom risotto. It's the only place you can eat and it's not cheap but I would come back.

Terrible food very over priced! $26 for tasteless mushroom risotto. Rice was hard and undercooked. Kids meals OK. Very friendly server. The food just doesn't cut it. You're better off with a hot dog & chips from The Mercantile across the street. Not eating here ever again!

We spent the weekend at Lake Quinault Lodge on a group retreat. The food at the Roosevelt Room was exceptional all weekend. We were all very impressed. We especially enjoyed the salmon, the mushroom risotto and the yogurt parfait. All the staff were helpful and friendly. I must say the food was included in our group package and when I... More

Always wonderful dinners and friendly staff! Delicious! Creative cooking, excellent quality meat. Breakfast isn't quite as good as the dinners. It's expensive for the area. Too bad the hotel isn't up to snuff.

I've eaten in the Roosevelt Room a number of times, in both winter and summer, but our recent visit left me feeling let down. I know they charge a lot, and normally it is at least worth it a bit. The portion sizes were so odd. For breakfast, plates were huge. One of my children had the pancake. It was... More

The Roosevelt Room charges coat and tie prices for good, not great, food served to a tee shirt crowd. A minute serving of pot roast on mashed potato is $32.00. Service is leisurely and the atmosphere great, but that's why you're there in the first place.

Ordered the same breakfast here two days in a row! The waitress was really great and remembered our group from the previous day. There was also a man working there who gave us excellent advice about our planned hike to Pony Bridge. Food was really tasty, and you sure can't beat the view!

The setting is beautiful, the service is wonderful, the food is good, but ouch! It's a bit pricey. For example, we shared a sandwich for lunch, my husband also had a cup of chowder, we each had a glass of wine (it was our anniversary -- don't judge), and with tip we paid almost $100.00.

We ate here a few times while staying at Lake Quinault Lodge. It gets very busy as there are few restaurants in the vicinity. I do believe they take reservations. The prices are a bit high, but to be expected for the location I guess. We found it mostly charming, with the olden decor, lamps, views of hummingbirds out the... More

In the fall of 1937, President Franklin D. Roosevelt visited Lake Quinault Lodge during a fact-finding trip and enjoyed lunch in the later-named Roosevelt Dining Room. Nine months later, Roosevelt signed a bill creating Olympic National Park. Today you'll enjoy outstanding cuisine in the Roosevelt Dining Room, one of our famous Olympic Peninsula Restaurants, as well as panoramic views of the Lake and the mountains beyond.
