Traveling through, it was time for dinner. We stopped at the By the Bay Cafe. It is quaint local place. I decided to have salmon and was advised it was from the region. Was not my best salmon experience however, I am used to farm raised salmon so.... I enjoyed my short time there, the service was good, restaurant was... More

My experience here will be among the most memorable of my trip. Not so much for the food, it was fine, but for the people. It was the small town place I always dreamed of finding. The owner is a young woman and she did it all, waiting tables, making customers feel welcome, preparing the food and handling the payments;... More

Stopped here on our way toward our lodging. Great taste, great value, friendly service. I was starving after an earlier hike and still couldn't finish the burger and fries. It seems to be managed very well and it was very clean and comfortable.

We were recommended to try this restaurant on our way from Cape Flattery to Forks. We were told that the food was great. The restaurant overlooks the Strait de Juan de Fuca so were expected a great seafood meal. After reviewing the menu, which was very basic, we ordered the prawns, cod, cheeseburger and fries. Those who ordered the seafood... More

I went on a cold rainy night. The staff was as nice as they can be. There are no printed menus, a desert board and pizza board, so ask for what you think you'd like and they'll help. For me, I wanted soup. The soup of the day was clam chowder. I don't eat clams so they put together a... More

Burgers? Fish? Fries? It's here. Nothing fancy, but the view of the harbor is great, and the fries are amazing. Actually, the burgers are amazing too.... The ambiance and atmosphere are laid back. A perfect place for lunch

Motorcycle riding on the Peninsula is always iffy, for weather. We had been in rain, fog and mist, and as we came thru Clallam Bay, the weather started to clear. As we approached Sekiu, I saw a sign for the Café, and decided hot coffee was necessary for survival. I ordered 3pc fish and chips, and my son had the... More

Stopped here on our way back to our house from Cape Flattery. My wife and I both had the fish and chips. The batter on the fish was not overpowering and thus the fish could be tasted. The fries had a great texture. Don't know what they do but the outer crispness was so good and just right. We both... More

I love walking into unlikely-looking local diners and getting a great meal, and that's just what we got here. Friendly service, quick turnaround and good portions. The french fries were crisp, the hamburgers substantial. Their soup (taco soup that day) was outstanding and they even had a very good veggie burger! All in all, a great stop if you're in... More
