We eat here probably 3 to 4 times a year. The food is good and they have many selections. The restaurant is clean, attention to patrons is excellent. They also have a bar attached to the restaurant but there is no excessive noise in the restaurant area. Parking can be a bit difficult due to it's location on a busy... More

For a Chinese restaurant dive bar the food is pretty good. The Singapore Noodles are recommended and the beef with broccoli was also tasty. Good portions as well. The bartender is a character watching joint and the drinks are stiff.

As old as I am there were Chinese Restaurants all over with good food. They all seem to be disappearing. The Peking House is pretty good. Prices have gone up.. Food is normally very hot and tasty. Prices seem to be ok. We usually order for three so we can take some home. They have a bar which is usually... More

This is our go-to spot for Chinese food when we're in the North Seattle/North City area. My husband and I enjoyed their "package dinners" with many choices to make it your own. Although it needs a bit of upgrading on decor, you can't beat the food factor!

Want to love it, but hate it. The kids brought home some take out and we tried it since it had been years. Yep, still gross.

When we visited in mid-June 2013, we discovered that the ownership had changed, different staff was now populating the restaurant, including our joke-telling waiter, who had retired prior to the ownership change. In addition, the menu changed, with a different line-up of options. Since we always ordered the "Chef's Special," this was a little unnerving, but when the apparent new... More

Peking house is a couple of blocks away from our house and my wife and I have dined there many years ago; maybe 4-5 years? Back then, the dishes didn't have much flavor and just about everything was salty. A couple of weeks ago, we decided to try it out again. This time, the dishes were tasty and didn't have... More

I stumbled upon the Peking House earlier this year. Very clean, a little dated, enjoyable. It was nice to find it to be a family operation which purchased from the original owner(s) some 10 years ago - they must be doing something right in this competitive era of food establishments. I enjoy good egg foo young and theirs is one... More

Nice place for a comfortable lunch or dinner, with almost diner-like booth seating around the perimeter and large banquet tables in the middle with lazy Susans, and a darkened atmosphere. In other words, nothing fancy, but adequate (I might rate it 4.5 based on these minor aspects). Parking is always nearly-full, but in going there for more than. 20 years,... More

Peking House is an average, run of the mill Chinese American restaurant. I prefer more authentic food, but for many Americanized Chinese is OK.
