It is a good restaurant with several interesting menu items. However, it's fairly expensive, probably because it's a hotel restaurant.

Beautiful setting near the fireplace. We had well crafted drinks. I had the rib eye that was slightly above average cooked perfectly though. My wife had the pork chop that she really loved.

I've made two visits (2013 and 2016) during off peak hours and twice it was like pulling teeth to get a table even though there was a sea of empty tables in the lobby and the restaurant. There were four hostesses but they claimed too few servers to cover the restaurant. The bar is always available but has only high... More

Lovely lunch in historic hotel. Fun just to sit in this grand hotel and have a delicious salad and glass of wine. Nice service. Beautiful interior.

Eating here is always a good experience. Service is cheerful, helpful and prompt. The food is nicely presented and is a good value. The booths are comfortable and private enough for good conversations and relatively quiet.

How disappointing it has been that such an upscale hotel has poor restaurant. Although we think the Caesar salad is really great, we are very unlikely to patronize this restaurant again. First visit: $45 for halibut bought a dried up & very nearly burnt piece of fish, essentially inedible. The pasta dish was gummed together & lacking flavor. Couldn't eat... More

We had lunch here the week before Christmas and the hotel was decked out in all of its finery. The lunch menu was simple and predictable, but the food was delicious. I had the grilled cheese with tomato bisque soup. The presentation was beautiful as well. It was a festive place to eat.

We ate dinner here. Started with the Cougar Gold Cheese and bread, had the oven roasted chicken and the prime rib sandwich as entrees and finally the apple crisp dessert. All of it was great, as was our server...very kind and attentive. We also had breakfast there in the next morning and loved the french toast. If you sit in... More

Had breakfast in the very pleasant ambience of this restaurant. Service was great, speed and friendliness, but ordering a basic eggs and sausage breakfast turned up a breakfast worse than some roadside diners. For a restaurant of this quality to serve oily fried frozen hash browns is disgraceful. I have eaten "mom and pop" diners with real hash browns and... More
