Lovely lunch in historic hotel. Fun just to sit in this grand hotel and have a delicious salad and glass of wine. Nice service. Beautiful interior.

Eating here is always a good experience. Service is cheerful, helpful and prompt. The food is nicely presented and is a good value. The booths are comfortable and private enough for good conversations and relatively quiet.

How disappointing it has been that such an upscale hotel has poor restaurant. Although we think the Caesar salad is really great, we are very unlikely to patronize this restaurant again. First visit: $45 for halibut bought a dried up & very nearly burnt piece of fish, essentially inedible. The pasta dish was gummed together & lacking flavor. Couldn't eat... More

We had lunch here the week before Christmas and the hotel was decked out in all of its finery. The lunch menu was simple and predictable, but the food was delicious. I had the grilled cheese with tomato bisque soup. The presentation was beautiful as well. It was a festive place to eat.

We ate dinner here. Started with the Cougar Gold Cheese and bread, had the oven roasted chicken and the prime rib sandwich as entrees and finally the apple crisp dessert. All of it was great, as was our server...very kind and attentive. We also had breakfast there in the next morning and loved the french toast. If you sit in... More

Had breakfast in the very pleasant ambience of this restaurant. Service was great, speed and friendliness, but ordering a basic eggs and sausage breakfast turned up a breakfast worse than some roadside diners. For a restaurant of this quality to serve oily fried frozen hash browns is disgraceful. I have eaten "mom and pop" diners with real hash browns and... More

First of all. This restaurant to sitting in the lobby of one of the most beautiful hotels you will ever see. The famous Davenport Hotel in Spokane Washington. I had read about this place a few years ago and hoped someday I would have a chance to go there. Well, my time came! The Davenport was built in 1914 by... More

We hosted a small dinner party here while staying at the hotel. Our table was lovely--situated next to beautiful, historic fireplace in lobby. The menu had excellent choices and the food was very good. Service was not so good--somewhat amateurish and inconsistent.

We ate a breakfast and a dinner there. Also had drinks and appetizers during happy hour in the bar. Noisy in rhe bar. Meals: The food was passable but overpriced. Nice waitress. Best item was the creme brulee. On the Davenport Hotel channel the chef was introduced and said there was East-West Fusion. But we did not notice that influence... More

Some foods were very good and some were more tending towards average. Although the food was fine, the value for money wasn't there for me.
