Not an ordinary dining experience. I enjoyed a hanger that they call Lomillo. She had Serrano wrapped stuffed chicken with polenta. Both dishes were prepared perfectly and presented well. Service was excellent.

Have been to Asado before and always been happy but last week ate twice in one week with poor cooking. My wife ordered a salad with chicken and chorizo where the chicken skewer came cold from the fridge rather than hot off the grill. The...More

It had been six years since our last dinner at Asado, but our recent meal there was just as good as we remembered. Our waitress, Sarah, was terrific--friendly and efficient. But then the entire staff contributes to that efficiency; everyone is an expediter. The deck...More

Hi Susan from Poulsbo Go check their menus on the website. Lunch is a great option for tasting many of the dishes, without paying the higher prices and it is just as lovely during the day. Good luck

Yes, I agree with the other answers; business casual, or just nicely dressed casual. It's a nice restaurant, but not a formal restaurant. Great food! Don't forget to order a creme brulee- they make the best!

Description
Sizzle and smoke define Asado Cucina Argentina, the South Sound's only Argentine-themed steakhouse and a staple restaurant of the trendy Sixth Avenue dining district. Heady smoke wafts from the display kitchen where chefs sear beef over a mesquite grill. Low lighting is moody by night, bright and beautiful by day because of the expansive garage doors that roll up in the summertime, spilling diners onto Sixth Avenue. A mural evokes pastoral Argentina. Metalwork and heavy doses of deep-hued wood create a rustic urban palette. Social by design, with a large chef's table straddling the display kitchen. Bench booth seating connects diners to neighbors, but without being overly intrusive. The word "asado" means a gathering of friends for a grill party - the Argentine equivalent of an American patio barbecue - and that theme translates into a convivial gathering spot for friends and family. A steakhouse with a flavor-forward menu with preparations licked with smoke and sophistication.
