Nice place to go when you are not in a hurry. The service is really slow and it takes a lot of time to get the food but the food is great once you get it.

We have stopped and eaten at the Tokeland Hotel Restaurant, but I think this time was the best. I love just stopping there to see the historic hotel, but the food is so delicious and everything is homemade. We brought our friends who had never been there before and got there just before closing for lunch. I had a crab... More

While the hotel exterior is a wee bit rundown and some of the furnishings a little threadbare, the breakfast we had there was probably the best restaurant breakfast we've ever had! Definitely great home-style cooking. We went on a Saturday morning hoping to get a table and it was no problem - very quiet - and we were promptly seated... More

The Tokeland Hotel has been there a really long time. People came there from Portland and other metropolitan areas by ship to vacation, a destination resort. The hotel transported them to the beach by horse drawn wagon. It is widely believed that the hotel is haunted. Eating at this hotel is an enjoyable occasion, whatever meal. The food is very... More

The dining room is sedate, even a little bit fussy. Our server was wonderful and had a welcomed sense of humor. I had the best clam chowder of our trip, redolent with clams and supported with bacon, carrot, celery, potatoes and cream. My salad was also excellent. The menu is diverse and the dishes coming out of the kitchen looked... More

This is a great stop for those that love the old-world charm. Walking through the door definitely makes you feel as though you're going to visit grandma's house (this is a good thing!) We've never had bad service in the few years we've been going here. Breakfast is our favorite meal to enjoy here, but they're all great in their... More

Enjoyed walking thru the hotel's various floors listening for "Charlie" (entity). Beautiful antiques thru-out the hotel.

A beautiful little spot to stop and stay -- or just eat. The seafood was excellent. The place was charming. The staff was very kind, pleasant, and solicitous. Totally enjoyable experience! Good value.

If the Tokeland Hotel seems a little long in the tooth, that’s because it is. It’s “the oldest resort hotel in Washington.” It's an interesting site for history buffs. The food is incredibly average. We were a little disappointed with our last visit. It was a Sunday afternoon. We were between the lunch and dinner crunch. Menu options were basically... More
