Went to buffet which has veggie options. Food is usually very delicious. The wait staff is polite and the restaurant is clean. One of our favs when visiting Yakima.

The Chicken Tikka Masala on the Sunday buffet was good quality, and food wash fresh and often refreshed. I wish they had the buffet during the week. Price low, although the hostess misquoted the actual price. If you are a fan of Indian food, you will be pleased at the quality.

We love Indian food and unfortunately currently live in a location where there aren't any restaurants and my attempts to make it have failed, so whenever we go to WA and drive through Yakima we stop at Taj Indian. Apparently the restaurant is under new management and on our drive north last week the food wasn't spicy. It tasted good,... More

Have enjoyed many meals there, and catering also. The food seems to be very fresh and well prepared.

I was hesitant to try Indian food, but it turns out I love it! I loved the butter chicken and the Naan. The buffet was nice because I got to try everything. The service was good, they explained everything clearly so I knew what to get. The decorations are great. I recommend trying the buffet first so you know what... More

We have been to Taj (an old favorite) twice since the ownership changed. The first time was not as successful as I would have liked. The naan was not as good, and the the other dishes not as distinctive. I'm happy to report that the second visit was much better, with improvements in every dish. Better presentation, freshness and flavors.... More

What a surprise! The food we've had so far (in 3 visits) has been very good (could have been a bit spicier for us but probably outstanding for most). The waitstaff is young and casual but very pleasant and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend trying their authentic Chai with your meal or for dessert; you may never want it from anywhere... More

Terrible buffet selection and the food was cold. Normal menu looks good though. Waitress and other staff were very friendly.

Absolutely love this restaurant. I eat lunch here at least once a week. Some standards, but always surprises on the lunch buffet

We love the Taj Palace. It's appealing in many ways: decor, food, service. Even though we don't dine there as often as we would like, the owner is always welcoming and knows that we will likely order palak paneer every time. We never have room for dessert, but if you do, try the Kabuli Naan stuffed with nuts, raisins, coconut... More
