We stopped by this pub after work yesterday and husband & I both regretted choosing this pub. Food was awful and portions were small. We both felt upon leaving that we should have driven on for a bit longer and bought supermarket food to heat up at the fraction of the price we paid. That would have been the tastier... More

This was my first time visit to this lovely pub in Sandford, Wareham after driving past it many many times and wondering what is was like. I booked a table and told the lady on the phone that this was a special family occasion, when we arrived a lovely round table was reserved for us in the middle of the... More

Visited this Pub the other week for lunch and as it was a beautiful sunny afternoon we opted to sit in the garden. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had pork and apple sausages and mash with gravy and big onion rings. This was really delicious. We decided to return today Sunday 30th October for a carvery. The... More

This place did classic pub food for my coeliac son and everything including fish and chips was open to him, which is unusual in a pub. Great place.

As someone who suffers from coeliac disease my husband rarely finds food in pubs "safe" to eat. So as a family we never eat out in them. What a birthday treat for him to be able to go out and enjoy a pub lunch. The food was by no means perfect and the heating was pumping out so we were... More

I don't know where to start on this pub, it is our second visit over a couple of years and we were the only people in the pub, it hasn't got a very welcoming feel when you step into the bar area with a bit of tweaking it could be amazing, the first thing that wel comes you in the... More
