Our favorite place to eat in Buckhannon. Great atmosphere and a menu filled with delicious food. A definite must for a night out.

From the day our student enrolled at WV Wesleyan College, our neighbor has told us that we MUST try C.J. Maggies on Main Street in Buckhannon. According to him (and his wife) it is one of the best restaurants in the State and he would know, since his job has him traveling throughout West Virginia. When our family spent a... More

Food was great and portions are huge! Had the white pizza and it was good. The appetizers are the best part of the meal.

A fun place to eat. Great selection of food to choose from. But try the pizza it is a winner thin and great flavor. Can be loud if full. Check out the atmosphere the lamps are made out of buckets and paper towels are hung up on pipe. Just a fun place to go but not real cheap.

Husband ordered a medium rare hamburger. It was burnt around the edge, the bun was so hard it was inedible. Husband ate burger without bun. His fries erre soggy. My bruchetta was served as if it was a dip. Bruchetta soup? Friend had medium well hamburger that was burnt and a bun that was also too hard to eat. Her... More

Ate lunch here. Neat building and decor. But food is just ok. Hamburger over done and burnt on edges. The bun so tough could not eat. The French fries were not crisp and soggy. Service was excellent and very attentive.

We went here during a short trip. The decor is pretty rustic/quirky and it has a friendly neighborhood feel. Seating is fun. Lots of booths and secluded table spaces. The service was excellent, very friendly. All our dishes tasted good. The soup could have been a bit hotter for my taste, but it was yummy.

Went there, ate in the bar, food was very good. Husband had a stuffed PC....and sauteed mushrooms which he enjoyed. I had the Chicken Pot Pie and Caesar Salad....both were huge, I couldn't finish the pot pie and hardly ate the salad. But all was very good. Would definitely go there again if we are in the area.

The food was good. 4 adult drinks and 5 meals our bill was $91.80. Some local beers to choose. Staff were friendly and service was good. I like the college feel to the decor.
