Stumptown always has an incredible selection of beer and the atmosphere provides a reflection on the region's logging history. As someone who has visited many breweries around West Virginia , I will say that this is one of the best!

Have enjoyed multiple visits to Stumptown over the years. They make genuinely great beer that you can have on draft at the brewery, or take home in cans or a growler.

Super pleasant little brewery in Davis, WV, near Canaan Valley. The beer is good and selection diverse. As a bonus, it has very good pepperoni rolls. I just wish I could go back now.

Cute small town brewery. Small but good selection of beers homemade. Service was good, gave samples of any beer you wanted to try. Would definitely return again in the future

Let me start by saying that I am a craft beer lover and I am always down to try new & local brews. I love supporting small businesses. This brewery had quite an extensive list of brews to choose from. I was also able to...find a brew for my non-drinker boyfriend. However the unfriendly, young blonde behind the bar left quite the sour taste in our mouths. My boyfriend, with his full-beard and receding hairline was carded before she would serve him. Shame on him for not bringing his ID, however after he walked back in, the older blonde woman served him right up - not asking for his ID or anything. We also stopped in on a busy Sunday with the TV BLASTING the WV game - we could barely hear ourselves talk. Not to mention these ladies behind the bar let two idiots sit a skeleton in a bar seat. Yes, an F’ING skeleton. Let’s not mention that it was a full bar and people were forced to stand because there were not enough seats for everyone. But sure, let the damn skeleton take a seat. We left shortly after that, freeing up two seats because the skeleton couldn’t get up. Who does that! Would I go back again, probably not. The beer wasn’t that memorable anyhow. Other cons: - spotty WI-FI - small seating area - no food (food trucks come around at some point I guess?) - unfriendly young blonde who can’t smile to save her life (get another job then!)More

Place is sorta disorganized with spotty service and lacks personality but still, as Davis goes, a worthy beer stop. No food to speak of here but note that they let you take food in from other places, like Hellbenders.

No food served, but can bring in. A food truck was parked close by and we ordered & brought inside. If I remember correctly they had a shrimp appetizer and truffle french fries that were awesome. The beers at Stumptown are... More
