As you walk in, you get to read what the rules are… will NOT split the check and will NOT rearrange tables. (They spelled rearrange incorrectly!) We saw first hand a party of 8 walk in and wanted to sit together… nope! They would not...move the tables to accommodate. The party of 8 left… most likely a $100 bill walked out. Ordered the hamburger… it tasted like propane they cooked with. One side was burnt… Awful! Wings were good. Ranch dressing was runny. Ordered a Blue Moon and it was past the expiration date.More

Wonderful hospitality from the owners and staff. My steak was perfectly cooked and the pepperoni rolls were very good.

The service was good. The food was not great. The fries were delicious and the black bean chili was good. The Flatbread pizza was not so good. Don't expect a lot.

I had had a yuk meal at the Canaan Resort and was determined not to have three days of bad food. Wicked Wilderness did the trick. The server filled me in on the jambalaya special and it was terrific! As was the dessert brownie. And...to ensure social distancing they seat large stuffed animals at some of the tables. Overall a very nice experience. Very friendly staff, as is the case all over WV!More

Don't let the name fool you. We had a great lunch with friends. The special of the day was Jambalaya, and was very good. No one was interested in desert until our friendly waitress said ice cream and brownie, which we all ordered. Place was...clean and friendly. I like how they social distanced.More

My wife and I arrived at the restaurant at 8 pm on Friday 10/9/2020. We stood at the 'Please wait to be seated' sign for 10 minutes and watched three staff members do everything, except acknowledge us, including one staff member who was busily chatting...with customers at a table right next to where we were standing. We'll never know how the food or service was because we left with a bad taste in our mouths from our disappointing visit. A simple 'Hello - we'll be right with you' could have changed our whole visit.More

Staff not very welcoming. Food was ok. Offers indoor and outdoor seating. Offers some local beers and a pretty standard bar-food menu.

Stopped in for a quick bite on our way through town. Always consistent, great service and good people everywhere. Get the pepperoni rolls!

None of the servers were wearing masks or ensuring that patrons were masking up when moving around. Food was uninspired.

Wicked Wilderness is a great addition to Davis. Sandra is lovely...and is very accommodating to meet a special request! Such a nice gal. We had the privilege of meeting owners Eric and Donna- and really enjoyed some great conversation and shared stories about all our...fun Canaan adventures over the years. This new addition to the scant Davis restaurant scene has some really great things going for it. The sleek, sparkling clean industrial farmhouse decor is refreshing. The hospitality is warm. The smoke deck is a nice touch- separated from the front door and outdoor dining areas! The food needs some tweaks- our steaks were a bit overcooked (err on the undercooked side when you order) and seasoning needs a bit more intensity, however the salmon cakes were awesome- need to add that as a sandwich or slider for sure!! All the slight negatives aside, the plentiful cold drinks and friendly, laid back vibe make up for it. I hope they find their niche in this landscape of limited options! I will be happy to see them on my next visit to Canaan!More
