We wanted 45 minutes to an hour for our food, then they brought us steak and eggs with no napkins or fork. We asked for napkins and the server said "Do you need a fork too?" We got a fork but no napkins. The redeeming...factor was it was a good steak. Won't go back.More

Breakfast is good. Had the plain pancakes and they were delicious. The dining room is very rustic though so don’t expect more than a couple of tables and counter seating for no more than 10 total.

As others have said, the food is good and the prices are very reasonable. However, I had to wait almost an hour for a takeout order (2 sandwiches and one 2-egg breakfast). There was a group of 4 and a separate group of 5 ahead...of me, but there was only one server. I was provided no explanation for the wait nor was I warned ahead of time that there would be a long wait. I finally asked what was going on after 45 minutes, and I was told it would be about 10 more minutes. And you can’t call ahead because you have to pay when you place the order, and they only take cash or local checks.More

This is a very plain, no nonsense good place for breakfast. Unfortunately there are only 2 1/2 places to eat breakfast in the valley. One is closed all but Fri/Sat/Sun so they are the half. The other is the big state run lodge. This private...place is down home ordinary good breakfast food served by young folks learning to live in a better world. You are literally performing a service eating here BUT it is NOT charity in the sense of getting all you pay for and then some. Good eggs, toast, coffee, etc. I especially like their sausage sourced locally somehow and very tasty. You will be glad you stopped here for breakfast.More

The little breakfast restaurant was walking distance and the cook knows how to cook. Everything we had was very tasty and the cash-only prices were very good. We went their 2 of our 5 mornings.

This place fills the niche in this area for a decent place to obtain a quick and inexpensive breakfast. Basic breakfast items available. The eggs and bread are probably the only fresh food on the menu, since most of it seems to come from the...freezer, but all is cooked well, service if good, and beats a fast food restaurant any day as far as I am concerned.More

Breakfast Nook is located at entrance to Land of Canaan Resort. We know that Breakfast Nook is a very popular Breakfast diner for both Travelers and for Locals. Breakfast Nook is perhaps a two hundred-yard hike from our resort, and a 7:30 arrival finds few...guests. All menu items are prepared from Scratch, and we like this. Service: Excellent Ambience: Diner and a window table Dining: Today Blue Berry Pancakes with Bacon.More
