I stop religiously when I'm passing through. They make the best fresh-cut sandwiches anywhere on the mountain. Period! Caver friendly, hiker friendly, skier friendly. Just friendly!

Great service, good sandwiches at Big Belly. They were one of a handful of places that was open off-season on a Sunday afternoon. Servers were friendly and pointed out the backyard picnic area during pandemic time. Reuben sandwich was excellent; Messy Becky was pretty good....Sides (cole slaw & broccoli slaw) were great.More
Not a fan. My wife ordered a pastrami on white bread instead of rye and mustard on the side. She got rye bread and an eye roll from the woman taking our order over the mustard. The pastrami was tasty. I ordered a ham and...turkey wrap with lettuce, mayo and mustard. She said the condiments would be in packets. I got a wrap with grocery store lunch meat and old wilted lettuce. Oh and no packets. Cost was 20$ and just not worth it.More
Two very expensive, soggy, tasteless, overcooked sandwiches; the sides were just as bad. Excessively long wait. Never had food this bad in Davis before.
Had a few very good sandwiches. On one trip the service was a little bit less than friendly but on a second trip it was much better. Will definitely stop again in the future for sandwiches.
We purchased two large sandwich trays for a family reunion and they were perfect. Big Belly went above and beyond by supplying a tray of "extras" for our group. Would recommend!
What a waste of time and money. With no customers in front of us, it still took 25 minutes to get our sandwiches. None of them were good and we ended up throwing them out. Soggy tomatoes, wilted lettuce and wet deli meat were just...the beginning. My husband’s chicken sandwich was canned chicken that wasn’t even drained before the mayo was added. This “deli” is absolutely disgusting.More
Stopped here on our way from Blackwater Falls. Cute town, lots of small shops. The sandwiches we bought here were very good, however, it took about 30 minutes to get them and I don't know why as they weren't busy. The area that they had...for outside seating behind the building needed to be cleaned up - one shaded umbrella with people smoking under it, the rest of the yard needed to be mowed as the weeds were high. We ended up taking the food and eating along the street.More
We have been walking by this place for about 5 years. Each visit to the area we say we are going to try it if for no other reason just for the name but always find other places to eat. Today we decided to stop...for lunch since it was too early to check into the resort. Don't be put off by the decor. It is not much to look at but the food was awesome. My Husband got The Dead Parrot( pastrami with sauerkraut) I got the sausage and pepper with provolone cheese hoagie. I am not really a fan of these big sandwiches but I ate the entire thing. It was wonderful and the birch beer was a treat. Would definitely stop again.More
Stopped in for lunch and it was delicious. The best sandwich we ordered was the vegetarian Rueben but the other choices were great too! The proprietor is very friendly.
