Though a local tradition, and community centered with lots of memorabilia on the walls to showcase their local history, it struggles in comparison to other local places like DiVinci's in Williamstown or CJ's in Vienna.

We were seated in the "Police Room" and had the owner stop by an chat. He ordered for us: two plates of sausages, antipasto salad, garlic toast, and a 12 inch pizza. I had the baked lasagna, my traveling partner had the chicken parm. OMG, was everything so good! And I was stuffed. The Peroni beer helped wash it all... More

Met here for a family function but must say the restaurant wasn't up to it's usual good food. I had the broiled scrod & it was some of the worst I've eaten. Very dry and rubbery. The portion size was large unfortunately. The wife said her chicken Alfredo wasn't very good either. Will give them another try someday. Might have... More

We met a group of friends tonight for dinner. Colombo's is perfect for large groups. We had our own room so visiting was great. I ordered the house salad and baked spaghetti with meat sauce, mushrooms and cheese. It was very good. We asked for our garlic bread to be toasted on both sides. It's the best! Everyone had fun... Columbos served the Wedding Party of 28 and did a fantastic job. Great food, personal service at a reasonable price

Probably one of the nicest fine dining places in town. The gelato was really good. The wait staff are very nice and accommodating. Make sure you take time to look at all the pictures on the walls when you enter.

We were spending the night in Parkersburg after a trip to Pa. and were looking for a place to have dinner. We love Italian but in our opinion this was one of the worse meals we have ever had. My husband always orders veal when it is on the menu. He ordered the veal scallopini and it was unlike any... More

Came here for a banquet and because it was in the evening I didn't want Italian too bad or I would suffer all night with heartburn. So I got the prime rib, baked potato & salad. The salad was just lettuce & dressing. The prime rib was a lot better. Nice size cut & cooked as ordered. Baked potato was... More

I feel more time is spent in local politics and less time in the restaurant. I don't eat the pizza but I can vouch for the spaghetti. I call it water spaghetti. They don't drain the noodles before putting them on the plate so the sauce is watered down. The garden salad is lettuce and a few tomatoes. That's it.... More

I make a point to visit Jimmy Colombo's every time I am in town. It never disappoints. The red sauce is always spot on. The service is professional. The wine glasses are spotless. And the place is steeped in history.
