Local institution. be prepared to wait; the barista team is focused on crafting the best beverages for everyone on line; and remeber this is a sleepy colonial town so no one is in a hurry. Relax and have fun in the bohemian coffee house.

I took a group of guests on a bike tour from Pittsburgh to DC. Service was fast and friendly, plus the ladies loved the eclectic art collection. Best coffee since we left Pittsburgh. I'll be taking folks back there next time we ride through town.

We walked in and my husband got coffee. The girl behind the counter wasn't around when we first came in. He needed some cream or milk, there was none and she was not available to tell us where any was. Overpriced knick knacks were kinda...More

Hello Nancy. Thanks for your comments. In response. First, if you couldn't wait a few seconds to ask for milk which we keep in the fridge for our customers food safety sake you might be in too much a hurry . We don't keep dairy...More

This is Shepherdstown answer to "starbucks" and a hippie head shop combined - although all of us are in our more "gray" years. It is not often you get a chance to go back in time, for me the 70's were great times - this...More

Just wondered in while checking out the town. I ordered the honey cinnamon latte and it was the best coffee drink I've ever had! My boyfriend got the blueberry hibiscus iced tea; he loved it so much that he bought a 1/2 pound of the...More

Just stopped by for a cup of coffee and walked away with a glass of their nitro brew cold brew coffee. Cute coffee shop. I wish the barista wouldn't have assumed we knew or understood what the brew type meant. Needed some personality.More

Thanks for the review. But we fear your review was for another shop in town. :( We are housed in the big yellow building with the huge shade tree on the front street next to the Meck.. We DO NOT serve "nitro" brew cold coffee....More

We just love this place! Great coffee, great (& eclectic/bohemian) environment, owner is just wonderful- great dry humor! Asked him the other day for a "large house." He sent me down the road to the real estate agent! Ha! Love it!

First off, good coffee is hard to find. And a good barista with experience and creativity, even harder. Lost Dog has both!!! The menu is fun and it's even more fun watching them craft the drink. Authentic, strong espresso and spices with Monin (the best...More

Strange, but delightful. So many interesting and different beverages, and our barista was the hippiest of the hipster--but both beverages were on-point and the ambiance was fun and quirky. Would definitely go back.
