My wife and I did some exploring while in Davis and went to Thomas for a couple of hours to hit the downtown shops. Lunch in most of the places was a bit "healthy"?? We decided to try this place that has breakfast all day but opted for lunch. Routine food, nothing special, which was disappointing. Probably should have ordered... More

This place is tiny, so on a busy day they might tell you to leave and come back a bit later. Don't be discouraged...come back, it's worth it! The scrambled egg dishes are yum, the bacon is cooked perfectly, the roasted potatoes are delicious (with whole roasted garlic, mmm!) and they will bring you gluten free toast upon request! They... In quaint downtown Thomas, West Virginia. Small seating area and modest menu but good country food. Can walk to all of the nearby stores.

We have "dined"for years at this prominent Mom and Pop. Lookfor breakfast and lunch. Homemade desserts aredisplay andlook great. Smallentry dining room plus larger dining room-- all kinda comfortable. Serveris busy, and I askfor recommendation. "Rueben;" well, this Rueben is stacked high, and we also recommend. The tourist and local is going to like this 1960's eatery.

Seems as though all the food is cooked to order, no heat lamps in this place. Tasty options for lunch and breakfast. No feeling of being rushed, this is a local restaurant with a local pace. Decorated with memorabilia highlighting the towns history, the Flying Pig is a must for any trip to Thomas

Only ate there once but the food was simply made, hot and very satisfying. The decor is unpretentious and warm.

Very good breakfast burritos and omelettes ($7.50). Seems like everything was made from scratch and tasty. Server was friendly and efficient. Only down side is that they don't take credit cards so make sure you have cash.

Awesome little breakfast place with personal service. The waitress gave us great tips on other restuarants to try. Food was great! Cinnamon and blueberry pancakes were awesome. Quaint decor! very homey!

Can't go wrong with breakfast here (about 2 miles from Davis). We stopped in on our way to Parsons to go kayaking on the Cheat. Go early (opens at 8 am), because I bet it gets crowded, and I believe it was cash only. National Geographics and other reading materials available in a cute place. Yummy food...

Excellent from scratch breakfast. The place is small and you might have to wait for a table, but it is worth the wait.
