Following a cold, rigorous hike in Blackwater Falls State Park, my son and I stopped in for a light lunch and coffee. What ambiance and sophistication! Beautiful decor, great selection of confectioneries and coffees, and oh so cozy. Very eclectic blend of auditory and visual relaxation. I only regret having driven by Tip Top so many times and not stopping in!... More

The coffee is amazing but the real treat is Sunday Brunch. This is a favorite stop when we are in the mountains.

Join Cade and his crew at TipTop. Excellent coffee and beer. Tasty sweets, sandwiches, and snacks. Very family friendly. Locals' haunt. Good/free wifi in a tidy and relaxed setting.

WOW-WOW...Family and I stopped in on Feb 28, 2017 for "a cup of coffee". We were blown away by what we found...this place will match ANY Starbucks for rich/bold coffee and I can't remember having a better Latte anywhere. And I double dog dare you to pull out ANY of your grandma's molasses/ginger cookie recipes to compare to Tip Top's... More

´Tis a grand day. We visit TipTop Coffee House this am, and find it to be an Inviting Coffee House_Wine bar. TipTop Coffee House and barista offers coffee any way, and we choose a Latte. The Latte is perfect, and a window table provides a nice view. We recommend.

Great coffee and friendly service. Fun facility. Some of the best GF options I have ever found. Such a lovely surprise for so small a town.

Before Christmas, we took our Girl Scout Troop of young teen out and about for holiday fun. One stop was Tip Top. The girls loved the choice of teas, coffees, and juices and shared some baked goods. The atmosphere was grown up, but cozy as the girls sat in the high booths by themselves. Great art, good service.

We had been to Tip Top for delicious coffee during past trips to the Canaan Valley area, but this was our first brunch. The meatloaf sandwich with spicy tomato sauce was quite tasty, and the sausage-potato-pepper hash was reminiscent of Santa Fe breakfast. The Bloody Mary bar offered a wide array of fixings that should please almost anyone. The addition... More

We just now had our first dinner at Top Chefs on Alder and it was excellent! I had the grilled New Zealand lamb chops, which were some of the best I have ever eaten. The plate was presented with a medley of Brussels sprouts, yellow squash, and quartered redskin potatoes. The dinner price ($24.00) included a green salad with house... More
