We went twice while staying at a wonderful B&B. The first night, we were not able to eat in the dining room because it was before 5pm. The next time we tried, it was after 5 by the hostess told us they didn't have a waitress so we couldn't be seated in the dining room. Luckily, the bar staff and... More

We had dinner here two nights while on vacation and both nights were good. Service the first night was excellent second time not as good because she was filling in and bartending. Desert was excellent.

My family was visiting the area and we decided to try the Village Inn for dinner. The server finally got to our table and took our order and besides carrying out some of our meals that was the last that we saw of her! My steak was overcooked which could have been remedied but she never came back to the... More

My wife and I were staying at the Focsle Inn. We asked about where to eat. Mary Beth the owner recommended the Village Inn down the street. What a find! We had a great dinner of white fish and trout which was caught by the local fishery Halvorson's. The server was very friendly and did a nice job. Our dinner... More

Had dinner in the bar area. We were a party of five. It was "seat yourself" and we found a roomy booth. The full menu is available in the bar. Steaks, fresh fish, pasta, burgers and stuff. Service was prompt and very friendly. Other staff members stopped by to great us and made certain our water glasses and other beverages... More

We are in the bar, not dining room. The fish bites are wonderful! Staff it's friendly and appreciative of the business. Nice selection of beers.

The white fish is good and fresh. Would have liked to try the lake trout on my many visits although they never seem to have any when I ask. Great small town atmosphere.

The restaurants in Cornucopia, WI are few, but The Village Inn is worth visiting. The whitefish is great and loved by the locals.

Went to The Village Inn last night and received awful service. As soon as my boyfriend and myself walked in, the young waitress acted deer-in-the-headlights. She took us to a small table and gave us our menus and waters…then never came back. The prices of food are not reasonable. However, I can't review the food as we waited 10 minutes... More

We stopped at the Village Inn for dinner because there were a number of positive comments and reviews online. We were literally embarrassed when we left - both for the restaurant and that we had spent our money there. We're not restaurant snobs by any means, but when we walked in and saw the destroyed carpet, which hadn't even been... More

Here is the telephone number: 715-742-3941. There is also lodging at the Inn, but I wanted to write a review of the restaurant. The zip code for Cornucopia is 54827. The restaurant is open every evening, and on Sunday starting at noon. Here is the email from the brochure I picked up: cheryl@villageinncornucopia.com. The town is so small, I don't know if it really has an address; they apparently use the box number and phone number. Thanks. It is a great spot in a secluded place.
