I have loved this place since childhood. It is a place that I love for me birthday or any night of the week. The clam chowder on Friday is legendary. When you walk in the door, you see their beautiful charcoal broiler and the scallops and shrimp that come off are amazing. I have lots of love for my Madison... More

It has to be that the food is great and the service wonderful (they are) in order to draw people to this small dark building in a "sketch" area of town. The outdoor greeter/car guard is fantastic and the wait staff is as well. Food is great. The atmosphere is dark, low ceiling, without any half walls to limit noise... More

When you talk about nestled in an old neighborhood Bartley House is the prime example. The first steps in the door put you in front of the open charcoal pit where everything wonderful comes from. Not cramped or dark the atmosphere is intimate casual. A great char-broiled porterhouse is hard to say no too.

Been going here since high school back in 1959-1961. Prom, Homecoming, graduation, all special events would come to the Bartley House to eat. Excellent food especially steaks. Cozy place with fireplace. Not in the best part of town (next to the overhead railroad tracks).but excellent food and service.

This place is home for me. I love walking in and seeing so many great friends. The kidney bean salad and cottage cheese and chives knock my socks off. Don't miss the celery seed dressing and clam chowder on Fridays. The charcoal broiled shrimp and scallops are still my favorite preparations.

We’ve been to Bartley House twice in the last couple of months. We won’t be returning anytime soon. The service was good, but . . . The interior lighting is nearly nonexistent. You almost need a flashlight to see the menu, which you probably would rather not see anyway. The menu itself is a mess with crossouts, wrinkles, and stains.... More

Food here is always good. It's old fashioned and a good value. We love the fish specials. Service is very good. Security in parking lot is very helpful.

We love eating at the Bartley House, one of Kenosha's famous 'old school' supperclubs. We celebrated a birthday and they were super accommodating with my multiple calls to (finally) increase the party size to 18. (It sounded like we could have brought our own cake; but we didn't realize this, and they said "don't worry, we'll take care of it.")... More

Bartley House is a favorite in Kenosha. We all have stories of going there to celebrate something special. Not much has changed. Good drinks, food was ok but not outstanding and service was good. Now would I come back...NO. To expensive and the crowd was seniors plus.
