We like to visit Mom and Pop diners and this one had such great reviews that we stopped for lunch with our 4 adult children. We all ate for $35. Burgers, fries, shakes and soda. Everything was tasty! The three waitresses were super warm and friendly. Even the cook said good bye when we left. Friendliness for the win.

We constantly return to Bud Willman's for breakfast because of the awesome hash browns and excellent service! Their world-famous burgers rock! We usually take 8-10 home with us to eat later in the day and during the week. This Manitowoc staple is the best place for a hometown home-cooked meal. Remember to try the ever popular fries and gravy! Well... More

From the time you walk in the door you feel at home with the smells of all there home made soups and desserts. They make all there hamburgers fresh and so is all of there other food.

Buds is where you go on a casual morning or afternoon to get breakfast, or better yet, their burgers paired with fries and a chocolate shake!

Read about this place on a travel Wisconsin website. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's a very cute clean diner inside! My husband and I each had a bobs burger boat and we split a French vanilla malt. Total: $14.65. Friendly waitress. The Burger boat came with fries. The fries were those skinny ones that were... Found this gem thru TripAdvisor reviews-- and they were true! Great place for no thrills good cooking from breakfast up to dinner. I had the fried perch, lightly breaded and fried just right, not heavy. Had potato salad and slaw-very good. Huge portions! Couldn't eat it all. Friendly service too! A local fav!

Excellent food! Good Service and I bet everything is good here! We had bacon cheeseburgers, fries and hash browns and a pop and a butterscotch malt. I also tried the beef barley soup which was definitely homemade and delicious! I love a place where you get the mixing cup when you order a malt!

I got the feeling that this place is well-known to the locals but maybe not so many tourists find it. It's a little out of the downtown area in Manitowoc and doesn't look like much from the outside. The food was excellent, however. I had a bacon cheeseburger that was outstanding and a chocolate malt that was so big I... More
