I was there with friends on Wednesday and ordered a rib eye and baked potato. Ugh!!! That had to be the worst steak I've ever experienced out. It was done ok...ordered it medium rare...but tough, and full of fat. I took half of it home and the second half was worse than the first. The salad is still shredded lettuce... More

Just about everytime the in-laws come for a visit they insit that we go and eat there. I'm not a fan of the place but they are so I go to keep peace. The fish is good but the slaw anad beans are nasty and why do they always have rye bread it's a fish fry where are the hushpuppies.

Maybe I'm a food snob from all my travels lately, but I'm not impressed. Most locals love this place just for dinner or for group banquets. I don't get it. the staff is friendly, bartenders seem to know a lot of the regulars, food is alright but nothing to brag about, plenty of parking. Prices are reasonable, but you get... More

My family ate here on 11/5 and the meals were disappointing. The whitefish had onions and almonds on it which was strange. The pork and sauerkraut was a pork steak breaded and deep fried and the sauerkraut was just dumped on top of the deep fried pork with no seasoning. The fat was not removed from the pork steak before... More

A patron recommended the frog legs. I tried them and was thrilled. Fresh, tender, lightly breaded and perfectly fried. Garlic and chive butter with them. The best homemade fries as well, crisp but light and not greasy. Lovely.

My wife & I both ordered the prime rib on their Wednesday night special. When the waitress put my wife's plate down, she spilled a bunch of the juice on the table & didn't even say a word. Later when the waitress asked how it was, my wife said is was very fatty. The waitress said that's the way prime... More

I ordered a ribeye it was really good and juicy. 2 other people ordered broasted chicken and loved it. Poor service and 2 orders of scallops were bad and what the out of town guests and the guest of honor loved was prime rib and the four orders of prime rib were bad. We had been there last summer on Wed. prime rib night and were satisfied. Unfortunately this Saturday evening was a special evening for a 50th. surprise... More

My husband and I ate here recently and did not enjoy it at all. The food was not good, the service was terrible, and there was a really weird smell when we walked in. We thought about leaving but decided to stick it out. I so wish we would have left. We will not be back to this restaurant again.
