Great stop on our way through Marshfield. Super nice bartender and great service. Very clean and well laid out. Enjoyed their beer selection and our lunch was very good. Would definitely return.

We always eat here at least once when we come back to Marshfield. The place has new owners and has remained pretty much the same with the exception that the craft beer menu has changed. Tigers Eye is no longer available and there is limited...selection on the darker beers that we like. The pricing seems to have edged up a bit but that is happening all over anymore.More

Roomy taproom with high ceiling has a clean 'warehouse' look with gentle lighting. Conference room upstairs and outdoor seating available. Friendly serving staff. I had a flight of beers made on sight. All were very good. I believe the Belgian Triple is the best Belgian...ale made in Wisconsin. Yeah, it's that good. I had the pulled pork sandwich 'Porky got slawed'. The homemade creamy coleslaw (side dish) was seasoned with dill and celery seed. The combo was outrageously delicious. This is a beer lovers treasure in Central Wisconsin.More

Love the vibe of this place and recalled a positive experience 8 years ago when driving through Marshfield. Unfortunately, things have changed. The service was terrible. I understand everyone is short staffed, but this was different. We came in around 8 p.m. They close at...9 p.m. and clearly the staff was more interested in closing duties than serving the customers in the place. I requested a "to go" container twice and never received one. That's ok because quite honestly my leftovers weren't worth taking anyway. I ordered the oriental bowl. The chicken was fine but should have been marinated in Asian flavorings. The rice was overcooked as well as the red peppers (which were sparse). No pizzazz like green onions sprinkled on top. Very bland and boring. I recall inspiring dishes with lots of flavor on my last visit. My BF had the filet bites. His meal was a little better. Good fries with aioli sauce. The broccoli could have been steamed a tad longer. Hopefully they find their mojo again because this place is super cool.More

I’m frequently in Marshfield on business, and I even paid for PubClub membership since I’ve been going to this place pretty regularly for close to a year now. With the COViD rules, bartender told me they encourage patrons to order from the “touch less” online...menu on their website (see pic). Based on really liking their Sriracha Sirloin Tips appetizer in the past, I ordered the Sriracha Sirloin Melt Sandwich ($14 vs $12 for their other “beef” sandwiches that advertised “top round”). Needless to say, I was disappointed when their Sriracha SIRLOIN Melt only contained TOP ROUND, not the SIRLOIN tips used in their prior appetizer. Call me crazy, but I think a restaurant shouldn’t go around calling their standard beef sandwich (top round) sirloin. No discount offerred even after I pointed out the discrepancy.More

It was not busy, middle of yhe afternoon. We ordered cheese curds for an app when we ordered our drinks(they are primo!)We received them an hour later when our main meals finally came out. One of us ordered chili, never got it. We asked for...ketchup, waited, finally went up to bar to ask for some. Had to go up to the bar myself for a refill on my soda. We did enjoy watching our waitress eating her lunch while we waited. The food was good though.More

Here temporarily for work for a few months. Blue Heron is great for lunch or dinner. Excellent appetizers and entrees and, so far, best fried cheese curds in town. Pete is the bartender when I go for lunch on Saturdays and today I asked him...for a margarita from scratch (no mix). He NAILED it! So delicious I was blown away! He also makes an excellent raspberry sangria! I'll keep enjoying this place as long as I'm here!More
