am not a big italian fan. The ambiance is good and service is pretty decent. This is towards higher end so make sure you are ready to spend when you step in this place. My fav was thin crust wood baked pizza. My wife liked the eggplant. Ah i remember the tiramasu is really good at this place so give... More

The moment you walk through the door your teased with the smell of their wood fired grill. The atmosphere in the dining area is comfortable and relaxed. The dark wood and refurbished brick fit the decor of an old world pizzeria. They have a nice selection of speciality pizzas on their menu, along with some Italian classics. We opted to... More

Awesome BBQ chicken pizza and traditional pizza. Amazing bruschetta too! If it were possible for a pizza to be scrumpdillyumptious, this would be it!

I dined at SoLo with my husband and son on a Sunday evening, hoping for a quiet night out. While the spaghetti we ordered was very satisfying, restaurant policy on device use was not. The table next to us had three children, each on their own iPhone or tablet, each playing video games on full volume. While this is mainly... More

We loved the pizza we had at SoLo. We had the California Trio, and would highly recommend giving it a try...especially if you have a fondness for goat cheese. We had excellent service. The food was served quick and hot from the oven. We loved the feel of the establishment with the beautiful mosaic behind the counter and the wood... More

We had an hour break for dinner during an event at UWM and were surprised that there were so few choices around the campus area. On a Saturday at 5pm, we parked in front of the restaurant. You are greeted by the wood-fire oven, which smells great. To the left is the SoLo dining, and to the right is a... More

When you walk in, SoLo smells like a fire. It's like combining camping and pizza. The food is good and unlike any other pizza place. Thin, crispy crust, healthy quantities of toppings, and the distinctive bite of smoke. I would definitely go back.

Location and Parking: Just south of the Oakland and Locus intersection on downtown's Northside. A lot of meter parking on Oakland, but you can pretty easily find free parking up one of the side streets. Food: This was my first time eating here and had such a great pizza, I'm planning the next trip to see if the rest are... More

The pizza and focaccia bread are very good! I've tried the pasta and salad before and it isn't anything special.

Had the Pizza, was good thin crest but I would not call it great. Rather dry, needed more olive oil on it before cooking.
