A dress nicely, fancy place to eat. They have the greatest staff that will make your meal the best you've ever had. And a huge wine list that is bigger than their menu.

Food was so-so, very expensive, and Gluten-free wanting, parking an issue, since milwaukee police are very racist in their demeanor, especially towards non-wisconsin visitors

Absolutely remarkable culinary creations in a beautiful, romantic setting with a view of Lake Michigan. I had a mouth-watering butternut squash risotto to start and a decadent mushroom agnolotti with fresh shaved truffles that the restaurant recently received a shipment of from Italy as my entree (the pasta was a special that day, and is not on the menu). For... More

In late September we had a sixteen person catered dinner at Bacchus in their Library Room. The food, atmosphere, and service exceeded all expectations. The hors d’oeuvres; petit London broil with peppercorn sauce ( my personal favorite), crispy Gulf shrimp with mint and agro dolce sauce, and warm goat cheese tart with fig preserve and pine nuts; were such that... Went on a Saturday night to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. Service was top-notch for the entire meal. This was our first visit to a Bartolotta Restaurant, and as others have said it's a bit pricey and more of a "special occasion" place, but very worth it. I liked that they had a large selection of half-bottle wines, so you didn't... More

Our waiter was much more concerned with taking photos of people at the table next to ours than tending to our lukewarm food and rose wine.

Enormous selection of wines. Great great food. Affordable for the quality. No special drinks offered on Friday even was advertised, however the one with bourbon worth every penny ($12) Note to owners: Fix the ceiling with some fancier tiles- looks cheap and old leaks make it unappealing.

I have never been to Milwaukee before. My kind hosts brought me to the best, clearly! Beautiful setting and reasonably good wait staff. We started off we a rare treat: Jean-Noel Haton Rose Champagne. Beautiful classic rose. The shared appetisers (including Hamachi crudo and Boston Bibb) were excellent and paired well with the Huton and the Astrolabe Sauvignon Blanc, NZ.... More

My wife and I have gone here many times and have never been disappointed. We always get the 6 course price fixed menu. While every dish is a surprise, we love the opportunity to try so many things and the food is consistently excellent. This is our favorite restaurant in Milwaukee.
