Just picked up take out breakfast, was charged an extra $1 for each item ordered. Was overcharged by an additional $5 on top of that. Called to report the overcharge and I could hear the person that answered the phone tell other staff that I...was “whining” about being overcharged. Paid $55 for 3 breakfasts and a kid’s meal. Will not be back.More
We have been here only a couple of times in the past several years. We were there maybe about six months ago and had no issues that we recalled. We were in the area, didn't want fast food so decided to eat here. After we...left we figured we probably will not go back.
The food was fine, nothing wrong. Everything tasted good, but nothing extraordinary. My husband ordered off of the dinner menu. The menu stated dinners included bread and dessert. He was not offered either. There was another couple of slip ups with his dinner. We didn't complain but our waitress and another one was aware of mistakes made. We are our meals and were given our bill. My husband had to ask about the dessert that was supposed to be included. That was finally taken care of.
We aren't ones to complain and will try to give the benefit of the doubt. But there were so many "little" issues it would have been nice to have even a discount or beverages free or something. After paying the tip, etc. it was a fairly expensive lunch with dessert.
The food was fine, just too many issues today to justify going back.More
By far the best food I have had throughout Greece. Our waiters name was George, he was excellent. You should ask for him if you go here. Compared to other European places to eat at, Amalia's was very fast at caring to your needs and...bringing your food out. There was an appetizer and dessert included in our meal that we did not pay for, but don't expect this every time as I am unsure if it was just a one day thing or not. The prices are not driven up like a lot of tourist trap restaurants.More
I cannot have dairy and when I ordered my meal, the Spanish cod, I asked if it had dairy. The waitress was unsure, but described the dish to me and then was told it didn't have dairy and then asked if I was lactose-intolerant or...allergic. I thought that it was strange question, but answered lactose-intolerant. When my meal came, the salad had cheese on it, there was a small container of sour cream and I'm pretty sure that the fish was cooked in butter. I told the waitress that my meal had dairy on it so she took my plate and returned it to the kitchen. They scraped off the salad and put some fresh salad on, but some of the cheese remained on the plate and the sour cream was still there. I ate the fish anyway. A dessert was included with the meal, but it was ice cream, so I couldn't have it and I wasn't offered an alternative. They do have a fruit plate so you would think that they could have substituted some fruit but, no offer to do so. In conclusion, if you have a special dietary need, DON'T GO HERE! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR DIETARY ISSUES!😡More
We've been here a million times. It's fast and there's something for everyone. This time we went in I swear the prices have gone up. $9 for a kids burger?! I ordered a "vegetable panini" and it couldn't have been more off than the description....It was so disgusting I could barely choke down 2 bites. DREDGED in ranch dressing which it wasn't even supposed to come with and wilted romaine lettuce (should have been spinach). After this trip, not sure we'd come back. YUCK!More
My teenage daughter and her friends went for breakfast placed their food order and requested water. They were given small glasses of water and my daughter was still thirsty and asked her waitress for a pitcher of water to be brought to the table. She...was told the boss will not let me give you that, and brought another glass of water and told her "If you want more to drink there's a lake out back!"More
The food is an interesting variety of Americana and ethnic dishes. Service is fast and friendly. But the thing I find truly amazing is the speed at which they can take an order and deliver food to the table. Seriously, I almost always set the...stopwatch on my phone when the server leaves our table with our order just to see how fast they are. We usually get one breakfast dish and one lunch dish and it is rare for our food to take longer than 5 minutes. 4-5 minutes is the usual time to get food. McDonalds always take longer. Amillias is my go-to breakfast place in Oconomowoc.More
