Great old north woods supper club. Bartender really knows what she's doing and the food is always the same, great. Try their crock of onion soup. The walleye is also fabulous.

We had company up from Illinois so wanted to make a visit to one of the local supper clubs. We have only recently moved to the area so had not visited Fireside previously. It has an old school up north feel and is located on a lake with windows large enough to enjoy the scenery. There is a large bar... More
We were out for a Friday fishfry on the busy New Year weekend. All of the restaraunts in the are were packed, as was the Fireside. We had a couple of drinks at the bar while we waited for our table. This was our first visit to the Fireside, and our food was definitely worth the wait. We both ordered... More
We stop here often midweek as it is less crowded. The staff are very pleasant. We got a cozy table next to the fireplace, which was just perfect. I ordered the daily special, lobster stuffed ravioli and it was delicious. The clam chowder was a bit watery ( I like it thick and chunky) and the salad was just iceberg... More
Our family dropped in for dinner on a Sat night. It was packed and there was a wait. We weren't sure our kids would last so we ordered food to go at the bar. The staff was accommodating and the other patrons were super friendly. Ordered their prime rib and everything was packed up real nice and the food was... More
We went to the Fireside Supper Club for a Saturday night dinner while visiting the area looking at homes. We had called ahead for 7pm reservations and we're glad. It is a small, cozy restaurant with a bar in the middle. Our server was very welcoming and attentive throughout our dinner. My husband had a steak and our son and... More
Visited on a Tuesday evening, and in true supper club style, we were asked whether we wanted to visit the bar or be seated right away. If you sit at the bar, your order is taken and your salads await when you are seated. We opted for being seated right away this time. Dinners include soup, salad, rolls, entree and... More
Had dinner at the Fireside and enjoyed both the food and the service. It's a typical supper club. Most diners went to the bar first and after a drink placed their order. Once their salads were placed on their table the waitress notified the diners that their table and salads were ready. Dinners included soup, salad, entree, potato, wild rice... More
My friend and I were in Rhinelander for the weekend and Fireside was recommended by our motel clerk. We visited on a Saturday evening (about 5:45 pm) and had no idea we may need a reservation. However, we lucked out and snagged a table for two. We ordered haddock and 1/4 chicken. I was very pleased to see several menu... More
