Charcoal Inn is to die for!!! You haven't lived until you've eaten here!!! This is real Sheboygan, best of the best. Life long memories are right here. Thank you Charcoal Inn for not giving up the ground for some McDonalds or some other chain. Stand your ground, and keep making memories for all of us who can't live without you!!!

Charcoal Inn has been in the same place for at least 50 years. They only grill hamburgers, steaks and Sheboygan Brats and Brat paddies on an open charcoal fire grill. No short cuts here. They do it right. Toast the bun on the grill, slather it with butter and any toppings you want. Unless you are going to do it... More

I have been going to charcoal inn for as long as I can remember. The food is always amazing. The home made malts and shakes are to die for. The brats are excellent and burgers are very tasty. It's a little too tight for larger groups, but great for a small group of friends. Prices are reasonable and portions are... More

The Charcoal Inn has pretty good food, but not much else. Their interior is old and cheap to begin with. Their beverage selection is lacking. I saw a few different types of beer in the cooler behind the counter. The food was pretty good. Very tasty burgers and brat patties. Their buns are good old fashioned Sheboygan hard rolls. They... Wow! If you want really authentic Wisconsin hamburgers, brats fries and shakes, this is the place for you. Old building across from a schoolyard, quiet neighborhood, and mostly street parking is what you'll get. The shakes are huge, and come in a stainless steel large mixing cup that it's made in. The burgers are SO good, and they come with... More

Well, actually, it's a "cheese steak" but damn it's a good burger! This place has burned down more than once due to the amount of butter and grease that is used in its food...but that's a GOOD thing! Growing up here, the food is something I crave. I've never found a better burger anywhere. It's a heavenly mixture of quality... More

Ordered a double bratwurst in Sheboygan and got two meat patties in my bun. Bratwurst flavored meat patties are not bratwurst. The menu says brat (not patty). Very disappointed. In Sheboygan of all places. Food came quick and wife had a good steak sandwich. If you want a bratwurst - you won't find it here.
