Friendly staff. Food typical. Not locally sourced. Inexpensive. Unattractive view of kitchen from counter. Kind of a down at the heels feel about it but it does have loyal fans nonetheless.

I love breakfast at the Time Out. Super yummy, fast and cheap! And the servers are super friendly. It's a must stop when in the Washburn / Bayfield area!

I have been enjoying the Time Out Restaurant for many years when visiting the Washburn area. The place has always been sort of a "dive" but the food and service was great. The first time we went there it was because there were so many locals we knew it must be good. I was disappointed at my last visit this... More

We arrived at Time Out restaurant for breakfast. We were looking forward to a Moms and Pops breakfast joint. The staff was friendly but the food was lacking. The food wasn't bad it was just a bit dull. We ordered American fries and it was just fried potatoes no seasoning or extras like onions, seasoning, etc. Everything we ate seem... More

The basics. Done...ok. Quaint, small town cozy, complete with peeling wallpaper, dried decor, nice waitresses, a budget friendly menu and generous portions. Coffee will either be average and drinkable, or brown tinted hot water. Luck of the draw. Food tips: Hash browns only cooked on one side, so ask for extra crispy. Pancakes need flavor. Any flavor. Chicken wings are... More

Good food, lots of it, pancakes are very large and excellent. Egg sandwich good, all the food looked good, hometown cooked, reasonable prices.

The food was pretty good and plentiful. It was located within walking distance of our inn, so we stopped in for dinner after a travel day. It offers diner fare and some of us had breakfast and others dinner. Some specials were offered, the staff is friendly, servings were plentiful and good and service was fairly quick. Important information is... More

While on vacation we were looking for a place for lunch and stopped at this restaurant - if you are looking for good home-cooking lunch definitely recommend you stop here while in Washburn. We visited with a few of the locals who helped make our choice from the menu and the price was so reasonable and then our food arrived... More

The food was good. It is typical older dinner. Great specials, friendly staff, hearty servings and close to our motel.
