We stayed in town for the night and chose to eat from the Cowboy Cafe. We called in our order to have back at the room and we were glad we did. This place is small but was hopping with guests. We placed our order...of four meals via phone and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I was surprised at only 15 minutes but dang, the order was correct, spot on, and taste great! We enjoyed and would do it again.More

Fast, friendly service. Everything we have ordered is delish! The best homemade pies. My fav is blackberry. We enjoy browsing the shops around the restaurant.

Just had breakfast (ham and cheese scramble). It was excellent, particularly the bread was usually good. Quick service too.

This was one of my favorite places to eat during our 3000 miles round trip from Missouri, Iowa, S.D.,Wy,Montana and Nebraska. It was very good food at reasonable prices with fast service. O.K. it might not have been the friendliest service, but compared to Buffalo...Valley Cafe in Moran this was concierge attention. My wife already listed our foods that we ordered and description of the pies . Yes, I loved the apple that got left in the frig of our VRBO. Uggh. I wanted that for the cattle drive through Wy. lol. My advise as well as that of the cashier at the local grocery store is to eat at the Cowboy Cafe. Enjoy and fill up. It is a long drive either direction without human fuel like it anywhere.More

We were on vacation and Cowboy Cafe was suggested. Glad we got to experience this little gem. The food was very good! 1. Cleanliness and Atmosphere-it could have been a tad cleaner but it appeared they were short staffed. The atmosphere—small little cafe in the...middle of town. Door was open to outside so flies were a bit pesky but not horrible. Looked like the cafe had many regulars which is a great indication. 2. Taste-I had the crispy rotisserie chicken and it was so good!! A HUGE portion! The 🐓 was a big ‘un! Enough for me two meals! Very crispy and moist. I did not care for the mixed veggies but I had plenty fries and chicken to fill me up. There was another couple with us and everyone enjoyed their food. Spouse had mushroom and Swiss chicken fried chicken, cousins had shank and chicken fried steak. All was delish! We each ordered the homemade desserts. I had the Apple/raspberry pie. It was ok. I would not order it again. My spouse has apple and he said it was good. Cousin had pecan and says it was yummy. My other cousin had the bourbon chocolate and she did not like it. 3. Price-the amount of food received for the cost was unbelievable. The portions are huge! 4. Location-easy to find. Parking was not a problem. 5. Customer service-We waited about 5-10 minutes before being greeted. That was a tad lacking but the two on the floor were running as hard as they could go. The greeting was a, ‘name and how many?’ There was no good evening, where are you all from, nice to have you, kiss my hiney or anything. I am trying to be incredibly understanding due to the lack of employees not days but a smile can go a long way.More

Six of us had lunch at this small cafe. The burgers were wonderful, service was very friendly, the beer was cold ... and the pies! We tried six different types of pie - all were outstanding! This cafe is obviously a favorite of the locals...based on how crowded it was with residents of the area.More

We ate here for both breakfast and dinner and everything we had was excellent. The servers were very nice. It is small and there hours are short but in a small town it was expected.
