I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. I have been going there for over 35 years. Au gratin potatoes and petite fillet are to die for!

The atmosphere is dark and smoky, the staff was not overly friendly and the food was pretty average. On a scale of 10, I would give it a 5 and drive on down the road for something better.

Friendly Western atmosphere! Steak and prime rib were done perfectly. Very friendly wait staff and great service. Don't let the appearance of restaurant from the outside stop you from coming in to the best steak house in the Central Wyo. We will definitely make it one of our regulars!

The Fort has wonderful food. Their steak is flavorful and tender. They have prime rib on Friday and Saturdays that is amazing. It is so popular that you need to make a reservation for Friday or Saturday. They provide a small loaf of bread for the meals that is fantastic. This is a locally owned restaurant that is proud of... Atmosphere is kinda 70s - 80s steakhouse, it's not fancy but it is a great place for beef. Prime Rib on weekends is delicious! All the steaks are juicy and flavorful. Some big game mounts and western prints on the walls and behind the bar are local scenes.

Good service, great food, fun setting = great evening. The Prime Rib and New York strip are fantastic and the Rocky Mountain Oysters are ridiculously delicious!

Very pleasant staff accommodated our large group. We were served promptly and well attended to. The prime rib was exceptional. This is the place to go if you want a great steak. It has a good atmosphere as well.

The interior has some great Wyoming stuff, to include local scenes behind the bar. Very western feel. The steak was excellent and well cooked. Understand that this is a local small town spot, so they have some limits on things like substitutions on specials. The staff is friendly and efficient. Would eat there again. Cards accepted.

We used to always drive to Hudson, WY for a great steak experience but no need anymore. This is the best steak I've had in a long time, better then ANYWHERE in Casper. We'll worth the drive. Just an old-school steak house, no frills, salad, meat and potato and done correctly. Great service and home town feel. I'll be going... More

When we want a steak or prime rib, we go to The Fort! The service is great and we usually see friends when we go! If you are going on a Friday or Saturday better make reservations! They have accommodations for larger groups or you can reserve the whole restaurant. The owners are great!

Thank Melody D
