Old style restaurant that requires reservations on a weekend night. We were able to get a table after a 10 minute wait. Entrees were all fresh, sides were served family style, and drinks were very reasonably priced. All in all a great find that we...More

My wife and I stopped here after doing a quick check on TripAdvisor for nearby options. We enjoyed our lunch and the classic 50s casual atmosphere, but beware this restaurant is NOT vegetarian friendly. For some reason it is listed by TA as veg friendly,...More

Laid back atmosphere. Comfortable. The papaya "juice" is a slice of a papaya. Very nice. Breakfast was well cooked. Standard sunny side up which was done perfectly. My wife got the spam, 1/2 thick fried blessings. I got the Portuguese sausage. All-in-all, the food is...More

Good food but the building a bit on the rough side. Old building in the heart of captain cook town. One visit was enough for me.

We had lunch here and the burgers were great. They were huge and used local fresh grass fed beef. The service was fast and friendly. Little did we know until we got inside that this neat little place is the oldest restaurant in Hawaii. Pretty...More

I agree with the previous writer. Food and drinks are a bargain. The wine selection is very limited. Their menu is actually written on a blackboard, not printed. Two of us had lunch and drinks for $20.
