We have been here before and had a good meal, and that is why we came back. The food was good and there was a lot of it. We had enough left over to finish for breakfast in the morning. Was prepared correctly and was served hot. The service was very good and informative. we would definately come again.

Visited here a few nights ago and wasn't disappointed. This is casual dining and is frequented by locals for good quality meals. Huge variety and huge servings. Good if you want options of meals considered more local style - lots of mixed plates. Highly recommended. Gets busy early - Friday was packed even at 6pm.

This is one our most favorite places to eat in Hilo, and we recommend it to all of our visiting family and our AirBnB guests. All are just amazed at the quality and portions. Service is always excellent, and for visitors, this is the right place to get a taste of local dishes. Locals always outnumber tourists here. One warning:... More

If you want a huge breakfast, order their delicious pancakes! These pancakes are huge! The portions of the other offerings are generous as well and are very good! This gem is a favorite with the locals but I am glad we found it. Lucky us.

The wait staff is friendly, the people are largely local and the portions go way beyond generous. This is a typically local Hawaiian cafe and if you want to get away from the normal tourist eatery, this is the place. Don't forget to look at the TV monitor for the daily specials, and the Banana Macadamia Nut Pancakes are a... More

Tremendous portion, great food and service. Couldn't believe what we got for the price. Best value of anywhere I ate this week and tasty to boot!

OMG, the breakfast plates were HUGE, and had two 7" pancakes included! Food was delicious, but you need an empty stomach to dine here. The venue is a nice place for a small meeting or large gathering, and the service was superb.

This is a typical diner atmosphere with speedy service and a breakfast menu that's difficult to choose from because of the wide selection. The pancakes are the size of platters and are fluffy, light and delicious. My wife had the bacon, eggs and Macadamiann, banana nut pancakes and is still raving! Had a great very personal waitress who was a... More

Food was good. They serve large portions so next time we will split our order and share cuz neither of us could finish our food. And the service was good. We went for breakfast on a weekday so it wasn't too busy. Prices were reasonable. We'll be back another day with the kids.

Yummy Kalua pork. Loco Moco. Fried rice. Huge pancakes. Inexpensive milkshakes. Don't miss this one.
