The selection of meats was right out of Mexico (beef tongue, for instance). Spicing was not real hot, which allows the customer to add spice for their own to tastes. Hard to find inexpensive food in the area so I was happy to run across...More

Super stop in Holualoa village midst lots of art galleries and gift shops. Authentic Mexican food fro. A little hole in the wall restaurant. Open until 3pm. Very casual. Eat outside or take away.

Stopped in for a bite. Not very good. Seasoning was too sweet, chips were not crispy, service was not friendly.

We stopped for lunch here as it seemed the only place in Holualoa that was open for lunch. We ate there 4 years before and it has not changed. Simple menu, not expensive, not fancy, but good.

This location is actually a walkup window, take out establishment. They do have two picnic tables, but the location can't really be considered conducive to dining. The food is of excellent quality & flavor, but Is fairly pricy... Even by Hawaiian standards. In all fairness,...More

Our guide book suggested a visit to this tiny village to visit the famous coffee farms for which Kona is famous. Unfortunately there weren't any to be found, just several small art galleries. We were hungry and found this small Mexican eatery next to the...More

this is the only affordable place to eat in this quaint little village. the chile relleno is very good, as are the steak tacos. their homemade red and green sauces are a great addition to anything you order.

It is a take out location that closes at 3:00 pm, and not open Saturday at all. Did not see beer being sold, but one could probably buy beer at the market across the road and drink it while you enjoy the food on the picnic... More
