Walk the beautiful grounds after enjoying an awesome malasada. I love the sweet bread. Great stop if traveling through. Clean bathrooms. Tables and chairs inside and outside. Great service with Aloha.

Stopped in on the way from Kona to Hilo for a snack. Definitely worth going in for a malasada, they've got some great locally inspired flavors (mango, taro, guava, lilikoi)

Come here every time I'm on the island, and they have the best sweet bread and malasadas. Last time I was there they didn't have any taro or guava malasadas, but they did have a relatively new pineapple filling, which I thought was great!

I was part of a tour group and we stopped here at the southern most bakery in the USA to taste a malasada. Oh, yum!! Just thinking about it makes me want another one! The malasada is like a donut without a hole. There are...More

The Visitors Center only consists of posters; you cannot see the bread making process. Prices of sweet bread products are high; you can get the same product in Kona or Hilo for less. There is nothing special about the plate lunches: high prices, small portions....More

Had fresh baked items which smelled great on a blue sky morning. Was very busy which meant baked goods stay fresh with constant turnover. Well stocked shelves of visitor information and souvenir items. Clean restrooms.

While driving through town on the way to the beach, stopped by for some malasadas. They were great! I also had to have a Coco Puff, and we got some lilikoʻi mac-nut cookies for later. Outstanding
