We generally don't go out to breakfast much on vacation as we usually just get some fruit and nuts to munch on in room. But one morning we figured we'd splurge and do the buffet. It was very expensive $36 per person for buffet but it was worth it to try a little of everything. I love hotel buffet eggs... More

$30 breakfast buffet but everything was available so it was worth the money and a regular breakfast would have been around $15

The resort appears to be family oriented, resulting in long lines for breakfast buffet. Overall, food is subpar to average and wouldn't recommend unless you got a coupon for it.

It’s like a Sunday buffet on steroids! With a variety of fruits, tropical juices, and syrups (for the Begian waffles), breads, pastries, and hot dishes galore, we took five days to try almost all the fixings at the “Big Island Buffet,” located Inside the Water’s Edge restaurant while staying at the Hilton Waikola Resort. The fruits go beyond pineapple, mango,... More

This buffet was overpriced, crowded, suffered from lack of choices and the kitchen couldn't keep up with the demand. The fact that it is the only place at the Hilton to get a hot breakfast is just criminal. This restaurant and breakfast has been practically the only black eye on our stay here at the Hilton Waikoloa. I suggest seeking... More

This is a very good buffet breakfast eatery. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The omelette/egg bar offers good ingredients and fast service. Had trouble keeping up with fruit occasionally. Coffee was hit and miss in terms of being 'hot'. No option for espresso drinks. Price is high at $32.95 per person if there for any extended period.

This place has a great variety but if you plan to eat here the entire week by day 3 you will get board. There are always long lines to get an omelet. If you arrive after 9:30 you only have options of the picked over food with no updates. The scrambled eggs were runny most days along with the bacon... More

Yes- food in Hawaii is expensive BUT the cost of the buffet breakfast was beyond what should be charged. If we had had the breakfast included as part of the hotel charge which many guests did then I would not add this comment. However, we had to pay for this. It was an experience, tried it once! There was not... More

A really wonderful breakfast with a very wide offering of food. From made to order omelet to fresh fruits and local muffins and breads, it was a nice way to start you day. The service was excellent.

Came here for breakfast once during our stay at the Hilton. My breakfast was comped because of Hilton Diamond status but I wasn't at all impressed with the quality or selection. Service was slow and not very attentive. Charged extra for a slice of gluten free bread for my wife... My mother-in-law ordered a couple of ala carte items and... More
