This Luau was not a big production but was a fun night. Compared to other Luaus, it was small in size with mediocre food and unimaginative drinks. I felt they skimped on everything. The performers did a good job, especially the main singer.

Open bar, good food ( especially the pork), and quality entertainment - worth the price for a fun evening. If you are a Marriott rewards member staying at the hotel, you even get a 20 per cent discount. We had some trepidation about attending, but were very happy that we did.

The luau is held in a large outdoor seating/stage area. It begins with drinks, then buffet dinner. Each communal table is directed in turn to go for food. The servers are fantastic. Spring for the Ali'i level. You get front seating, as well as drink service, all included. While it wasn't a cast of thousands, the show was well-done, and... More

Lots to choose from on the Big island. I would recommend this luau. The people were really nice and the food was really good. They did the story of the pig roast, hula and fire dancers. Right on the beach so you get the sunset. Was windy but "hey" its warm and you are in Hawaii. :)

Average food with long buffet line. Tightly orchestrated and commercialized. If you like being herded like cattle you might enjoy.

My grandchildren loved the presentation of "raising the pig" from the pit. They were enthralled by the entertainment and my grandson even joined dancers on stage for the hula! Watching the sunset made the whole experience even more delightful.

The location and setting of the luau is lovely at the Marriott with a great view to watch the sunset. We attended the luau in November 2016, much smaller scale in terms of attendance compared to the Hilton (which we attended in summer 2015). Drinks were included and were strong, line ups were not long (likely due to the small... More

This Luau is one of the best. The food is delicious and plentiful, with a great variety! It's in a beautiful spot where the sunsets are exquisite. The entertainment is absolutely wonderful. Very talented people. Audience members are included in the show as well! We had a ball! It's worth the price and the time! I highly recommend it!

We attended a lot of luau during the years. This was our 3rd luau at Waikoloa. It's always amazing! The food, the show is just great! Everybody has to try! :)
