Large selection of local blends to choose from. We were in Kapaa for 6 days and I enjoyed a different locally grown coffee pretty much every day here. There is usually a line but nothing to lose your mind over. The cookies and treats were also really good - we didn't have a full meal, just a quick grab &... More

Couple of us came to visit Kauai for 5 days and we came across this coffee breakfast place and it's the best thing ever ! Totally in love with this establishment! We even got us water cups. We tried couple of different things on the menu and everything was excellent.

Appealing menu! Cute exterior. Avocado toast was simple but delicious. The dragon bowl had lots of fresh fruit. The blueberry scone was moist but too small! One high chair that we observed.

I had a very yummy and creative "chai Kai". That said it was $6 for fancy Tea that would have cost me $4 on the mainland. Cookies were very good. Nice oasis but priced high even for Hawaii.

Java Kai is always pumping. There is the most wide varity vegan, gluten free, healthy, vegetarian food that I can't even begin to describe properly the highest quality ingredients. I try to try something new every morning that I come in while on island. I have ordered items online from them and had them delivered to Seattle it worked out... More

It wasn't all bad, but it was far too expensive for what you get. Not to mention, our order got screwed up. The kalua pork breakfast burrito was solid and I would eat it again if someone gave it to me, but I wouldn't go too far out of my way to go to Java Kai again. Plus, it is... More

This is a great little place. We had waffles, an Acai bowl, and coffee. Probably our best breakfast on the trip! Support this local place; you won't regret it!

Got in late, so needed the Java in Java Kai--macnut latte hit the spot! Ordered two breakfasts--Acai bowl and breakie. Both were well crafted. Went before 8, so was busy, not crowded. $30 breakfast, so not cheap but plan to return!

Java Kai comes highly-rated. However, I was disappointed in how crowded the place was for breakfast. We were packed in, making it a rushed and unpleasant meal. Coffee is good though. Better for on the go.
