Best mai tais on Kauai. Great happy hour and the food is wonderful. Beautiful old estate with gorgeous grounds. Take some extra time to look around and visit the shops that are on site. Very friendly staff, you won't be disappointed.

Yes, Gaylord's is a great restaurant and the original Mai Tais are good too. BUT, if you are looking for one of the best evenings you can have, join Hank Curtis in the Mahiko Lounge. He is a phenomenal pianist and has been playing since age 11. He knows over 50,000 songs and does his own arrangements. He knows classical,... More

How can you top and tantalizing multi-course meal, champagne, relaxed conversation, and a good mood. With live music OFC. Thank you Hank Curtis for entertaining us while providing depth and a soundtrack to fond memories to an already enjoyable evening. The fire in the fireplace was a nice touch. I imagined for a moment what living there as a resident... More

It was a lovely evening. We went with the private dinner and luau. It worked out best for us not having the buffet or all the people around. We had dinner with our closest friends and enjoyed the show from first row seats.

We come to Gaylord's every trip to Kauai. We love the history of the Kilohana plantation. The ahi fish tacos were delicious and the Cobb salad was good. The service was excellent. We were seated immediately and our waiter was attentive. I was disappointed that the shrimp salad in a papaya was no longer on the menu. It was peaceful... More

My husband and I found Gaylord's accidentally, when a monsoon-like rainstorm hit Kauai. We settled up the the back couches behind the bar, nested in a little nook of windows and whiled away about 3 hours. They have an awesome happy hour (I think it's $2 off man tais and other drinks). I loathe pineapple juice, and this version doesn't... More

We went for lunch and after waiting 10 minutes for a host just walked in and found a table. After some recovery, the waitstaff brought us a menu. The descriptions are awesome - hats off to the writers - the execution is just average. We had two of the worst drinks we had in a week on the island. We... More

My husband and I came here for lunch on our honeymoon on Thursday, April 6th. I had made a reservation in advance and they gave us a great table with views of the gardens. Kaipo, our server, was excellent and made sure we had the best meal. After, we walked around Kilohana and went on the train tour of the... More
