The wait was a little longer than I would of liked, but the food was yummy. The people watching was great, and the servers were helpful. Lots of locals. I would go back.

At a local's suggestion we went to Dani's. The service was rude and cold. In fact, they put the nasty Parisians to shame. Kauai is a lovely place filled with gracious people. GO ELSEWHERE.

Great local spot for traditional eggs and spam. Standard menu for breakfast and lunch. Moderately priced.

Best homemade french toast I've had in years! Kailua pig omlet was fantastic. Very pleasant waitresses. Open early.

No frills and not fancy, but the coffee is good, the service friendly and the food tasty. We had the Loco Moco. The rice was perfectly sticky, the patty flavorful and the gravy just right. The service is attentive but not intrusive. Lots of locals here so you know it is good!

Decided to give this a try as an escape from the expensive resort food. Dani's is a good local place but not worth going out of your way for. The pineapple pancakes were good and the omelettes were too. The food is cooked to order so it is definitely not fast food. Glad we experienced it but will look for... More

We wanted to go to the Kauai Beer Company for lunch on our way to the airport on our last day on the island, but it was closed that day. Dani's was just down the road and the parking lot was full, so we stopped in there. Good Hawaiian lunch. Fresh and tasty.

We had a great breakfast here - everything from the freshly squeezed tangerine juice to the banana pancakes to the bacon cheeseburger loco moco was delicious. We loved that they gave us cups and a big carafe of Kona coffee. A traditional, no-frills diner, they have been in business for over 30 years! The food and service are great, and... More

Got the Loco moco which was pretty good and fresh...portions to fill you up. Coming from Oahu, there's lots of places to compare but it was just a quick stop before flight back home

Delicious pancakes. But nothing to write home about. Pretty basic in flavor and texture. Not disappointing, but not incredible. Be prepared to wait a while. It's just a neat, local, Plain spot. Probably better breakfast at your hotel. But half the cost here...
