On our last night in Kauai this trip, we ate at the St Regis' Kauai Grill. The service was great as we asked to push our reservation back at the last minute. There was no problem and staff was very accommodating. We were a little late to see the sunset, but we were able to enjoy the post sunset colors... More

Excellent table by the window. 5 pm rez; bring sunglasses for the sun before the spectacular sunset views. Excellent service by server Chris, with support from Mike and runner Noah. All servers were professional and friendly, not stuffy or intimidating. Had the 3 course prix fixe, although they brought a complimentary salad for each of us, and an extra dessert... More

What a disappointment. When we arrived there was a mix up with our reservation so we had to wait a few minutes before we were seated. I had mentioned that it was a special dinner and I would like to have a table with a view, I even called the day before and was told that I would have one.... More

My husband and I enjoyed this as a special night out on our recent vacation. We started out on the deck of the St. Regis bar and enjoyed AMAZING cocktails and the "champagne sabering" ceremony. Then we went inside to the Kauai grill where we enjoyed delicious steak and seafood and a wonderful bottle of wine. $400 later, we had... More

Mahi dish in the caramel sauce is so bad. The caramel sauce in this main entree is so overpowering and sweet that it just makes you sick to your stomach and ruins the fish. The whole meal I tried to keep the fish from touching the sauce so it wouldn't be a wasted $50 meal. Husband got the chef steak... More

Located in the St Regis Kauai Grill is a high end special event restaurant. Setting is gorgeous on Hanalei Bay but the restaurant's interior is in need of a facelift. Noise level was very energetic for such a fine dining establishment. But the service, menu selection and food worked hard to successfully overcome the interior shortcomings. Two different chef's tasting... More

No outdoor seating, disappointed. Bread is boring. Main course is just ok. No wonder the waiter asked us whether we want to order any side. as you can see, no or very little side come with the entree.

What an amazing view for dinner. I decided to splurge for our "anniversary" and took my fiancé to dinner at the Kauai Grill...dinner for 2 cost me $200. For the appetizer, we had the Kauai Shrimp Dumplings ($25), incredible taste, but you only get 5. I had the 8oz Prime Filet Mignon as part of my "Prix-Fixe Menu" ($95) which... More

We came here as our last dinner at the St. Regis. We had the chef menu for dinner, most of it was amazing apart from a few underdone gnocchi. We started with drinks and watched two amazing whales playing in the bay. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. The dessert was a bit too many flavors on the dish.... More

Chef Christopher Kim and Manager William Fily truly understand great food and hospitality. I dined solo there two nights and loved everything about it.
