So, I think this place has a lot to do with your expectations. Let's face it - there aren't a lot of dining choices as you make your way through Waimea Canyon. But the food, the view, and the locale are all pretty good. I...More
We were enjoying a day in Waimea Canyon and needed to have some lunch and we stopped here. The lodge is a combo of a small gift shop, small snacks, and a small sit down eatery which served a wide variety of food. There was...More
We had lunch here after visiting Waimea Canyon. The food sounded good on the menu and the servers were friendly. Unfortunately, the dishes were average at best and the screened windows didn't do a great job of keeping out flies.

Beautiful view of the meadow and considering the remote location expect slow service typical of island life and limited staff. The sandwiches and soup were excellent and generous. All you complainers might want to think about the difficulty of running a restaurant in the middle...More
