About
Recently featured on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. Chefs. Surfers. Friends. Travis Morrin, Cody Christopher, and Jaron Blosser discovered they share a fanatic enthusiasm for surf while working together at a top local restaurant six years ago. While surfing together around Maui they dreamt up the idea to start their own catering business using their regarded culinary school training and experience so they could surf whenever they wanted. Three's Catering was launched in 2009 using a rented warehouse and their old trucks. In a few short months, their unexpected success had them looking for permanent kitchen space, and they opened a restaurant in the current Three's Bar & Grill location in Kihei's

Wonderfully diverse menu with small plates, excellent cocktails and happy hour. Very efficient staff. Terrific coconut shrimp, Brussel sprouts, at least 10 different great small plates. Excellent vibes. We will be back!

Highly, highly recommend eating here when visiting Maui. The food was out of this world, the staff was very friendly and the drinks were delicious.

I went here several years ago and it was ok. Went again this year and it was one of my favorite meals on the island, specially the beer can chicken. Highly recommend this dish.

Get a table outside to watch the sunset as you sip excellent mai tai s. The coconut shrimp were tasty with the thai chili sauce. They were not greasy. The pork belly was awesome! The green papaya salad cut the richness of the pork belly....Its a must have. The fish sandwich was good but hard to eat with the large piece of pineapple. The peanut slaw was delightful. The ownecame by and spoke with us a while and we found out we are from the same general area. Very friendly and good food. We will be back. The entertainment played 70s and 80s hits.More

We stopped in here at the right time and luckily was able to get a table with no reservation. We sat outside and had the pleasure of having Mamma J as our waitress. I would recommend this place just for her alone. She was super...nice and friendly and informative on the area. She recommended a Serrano Hibiscus Rita which was a little spicy and delicious and hit the spot after walking around in the heat. We got the sushi rolls VOLCANO ROLL, LAVA ROLL and RAINBOW roll and OMG were they the freshest sushi we have had. The sauce was phenomenal and I would highly recommend.More

We made reservations for this place a week before we ever left the mainland because we wanted to make sure we got a good meal after 10+ hours of travel. Three’s did not disappoint. We actually picked Three’s because they had a wide variety of...sushi options donut also offered other options for the non-sushi eaters. We tried: pork belly, garlic noodles, portabella small plates…then the fish sandwich, pork belly sandwich, flat iron streak, and of course sushi for our entrees. We were impressed by everything! The top shelf Mai tai was also perfect…not too sweet and not too strong. So thank you Three’s for a memorable first meal on our first ever trip to Hawaii! I have to stop to call out the sushi in particular. Not only was it fresh and tasty as you would expect on the island…but Chef Eric has some mad artistic skills as these rolls are also beautiful! My 18 year old sushi loving daughter said The Tritan roll was the best roll she has ever had!More

Kind of pains me to write this review, because we loved Three's during our last visit to Maui. This time some parts were good and others were just fair. The good: got there at the end of happy hour and so ordered mai tais and...margaritas. Mai tais were good, but the margaritas were terrible. Tasted like drinking a glass of salt water. We ordered some coconut shrimp, sushi, and ahi roll, all of which were delicious. When it came to the entrees, that's where things went downhill fast. We were there right before 6 PM on a Saturday night and they were completely out of two entrees--the beer can chicken and the jambalaya. This left only the ramen (which two of us ordered), the fresh fish, or the steak, or stick with small plates and sandwiches, which is what we did. The ramen was ok, but our son, who lives in Seattle and eats ramen quite often, said the broth tasted strange to him. The pork belly sandwich was awful, as was the small plate pork belly. Dry and zero flavor. The Brussels sprouts were wonderful. I think we should have just stuck with the sushi rather than trying to make do with the limited entree choices. The server was great and very attentive.More

It was just ok. We had the quesadilla, fried sushi roll and the pork belly . It wasn’t super special and the restaurant felt kind of divey . The server was nice but the atmosphere didn’t seem to lively .
