If you’re a scone aficionado and find yourself in Kula, Maui, Hawaii, you’ve got to visit Jeannie the Bread Lady. She’s an entrepreneurial baker who makes fantastic scones and breads. She has a bakery and freezer right next door to her house. It’s located at 20 Kekaulike Ave, Kula, HI 96790, and her phone number is 808-878-6469. If you’re south... More

Didn't stop here until a few days before we left Maui. A little hard to find but a must stop if you are in Kula. Had carb overload with her wonderful bread and scones! The items are frozen when you pick them up. Good selection of products and her prices are very reasonable. Not sure she takes credit cards, so... More

We took a ride for the day and found out about jeanne's scones from the lavendar farm. We then went to find jeanne the bread lady so we could buy more scones. We found she also makes cinnamon raisin bread. It is like a piece of heaven. The best I have ever tasted...her scones are also to die for- bluberry,... More

We have made three visits to the bread lady since we've been here and her bread is awesome. My wife likes the scones, I could (and have) eat the cinnamon bread almost every day. Take some home!

The location that was on the google map and trip advisor wasn't as correct as it should be, so we wasted a good couple of minutes to figure out where the place is, but we finally found it and got fresh chocolate chip scones and tropical fruit bread. It is really good bread so anyone who's in the vicinity should... More

Jeanne is the baker responsible for the lavender scones at the Lavender Farm up the way. We visited the Lavender Farm and had coffee and a scone. It was no doubt the BEST scone I have ever had - delicately flavored, with a perfect texture and crumb. You must eat one! Next time we are back in Maui will be... More

Her scones and cinnamon bread are the best. My favorite scone is the blueberry and cranberry nut. Bread makes a killer French toast

We are staying on the island and decided to visit the lavender gardens down the road from Jeanne's. We mainly stopped as there was a sign for cheap avocado's, lemons, grapefruit too at their fruit stand. We met her father and two kids and her husband. We bought lots of fruit from them, and the dad said do we need... More

We have lived in Kula since '83 and through those years have learned that this small producer takes the time and effort to make perfect bread. Her cinnamon bread for French toast at home is unbelievable. I just wished she made salt-rising which is time consuming, but well worth the effort.

Must say first off that I am NOT a huge fan of American scones (sorry!) but this lady has nailed it! Taste, texture, crumb, sweetness...ALL ON POINT!!! (I also found that Mana Foods carries Devon Cream, in jars however). Can't say how great these scones are, I've had the pineapple, mango, cranberry & choc chip but my favorites are the... More
