We always look for a local bakery that sells Malasadas when coming to each of the Hawaiian islands. Some islands have a lot of these bakeries while others don't. Maui has at least 10, but not all of them are open every day or they have limited hours. Plus, it is hard to find some that offer more Hawaiian flavors... More

Some homemade goodness. We got manju and malasadas. I do like Leonard's more as its crispier and sweeter. However these guys are way better than all the super over processed chain bakeries. I'd rather support local than go to those.

I can't say enough about the malasadas at this bakery. I was on Maui for two weeks and I went to this bakery three times for these delicious treats! They are made fresh to order and the malasadas with the custard filling are what kept bringing me back! You won't be disappointed!!

Amazing, made fresh while you wait! Made all day! This was good so you didn't have to get up early! You can get regular or cream filled. They are dangerously addictive.!

These are quite different from, say, Leonard's in the Honolulu area on Oahu. They are lighter and fluffier, but only one flavor of creme. While the dobosh ones at Leonard's will always be my favorites, these are delicious in their own way. A must stop at place when in Maui.

I searched online (TA) for good malasadas on Maui and found Home Made bakery. We drove from Kaanapali this cloudy afternoon. We got lost in Wailuku so our advice is to turn right from the Honoapiilani Hwy (#30) at Main Street (turning left will take you to the Bailey House museum) travel past N. Market Street and Central Ave to... More

I probably spelled the above wrong, but they are freshly fried donuts, either only with sugar or with a cream base. Out of this world.

Always go for the freshly made malasadas. (Portuguese confection that is deep fried like a donut without a hole). They generally have a filling of custard, but sometimes there are specialty fillings. Chocolate is incredible! There is always a terrific selection of fresh pastries of which I've never been disappointed. Breads, cakes, bentos available too. Nice bakery.

If you don't know what manju is, it is like a mini pie with flaky crust and fruit filling. We love all the different kinds of fillings they have at Home Maid bakery: red bean, coconut, apple, peach, pineapple, or sweet potato. We usually buy a few boxes to bring home and then heat them up in the toaster oven... More

First time for me and was not disappointed! Nice friendly bakery with good selection! We were on a business trip so we bought the malasadas and the meetings went well! I brought back the sweet potato mocha for my family
