As a preface to this review I would like to say that we have been coming to the Island of Molokai at least once a year for the past 15 years and eating at this restaurant several times on each visit . We have worked on the Island of Kauai part-time for the past six years and currently live in... More

The rental car people told us to go so we did. Good food and lots of it. Actually we were glad we split the omelet and potatoes. Super tasty and so much food. Made to order so prepare to wait!

If you're looking for a hearty breakfast on Molokai this is the place. The coffee is good, the bacon perfectly done and the pancakes are great fuel for an active day of exploring the island.

Totally huge meals! Very tasty! Lot's of Aloha in this food. Loco Moco for breakfast will mean you don't have to eat the rest of the day!

Every thursday, this small restaurant serves prime rib. My wife and I really enjoy it, and usually get it to go so we can eat at home. It's one of just a handful of restaurants on island that serves a decent meal. As a retired chef and food blogger here on Molokai, I would recommend this restaurant.

We visited on prime rib Thursday. A gentleman was playing ukulele while we ate. We arrived early before there was any crowd, though the place filled up later before we left. The restaurant itself is pretty outdated and funky. It could use a good scrubbing down. The two of us shared one order of prime rib, and that was plenty... More

We stopped in for an early dinner and ate off the lunch menu. Sadly the only things on the menu that were not available were the things we wanted - the Ahi burger! Ordered the teriyaki beef plate and it was a very generous portion, delivered quickly by a very personable woman but the food itself was nothing special. Molokai... More

This is our favorite spot to eat (sometimes take out) for Prime Rib Thursdays. You can hear music by Bruser.

For Molokai Kualapuu Cookhouse is pretty good. It has good local dishes. They give a lot for the serving, BUT they are very overpriced and sometimes the food can be oily.

Experiences on Molokai can be wildly variable, but the Cookhouse, uniquely, is consistently terrific. Seared tuna with wasabi mayo, an extra wasabi mayo, and a side salad with the papaya vinaigrette is my definitive dinner. Great people in a positive energy, authentic environment. Bring Your Own alcoholic beverages (with no corkage fee)! Tuesday mornings, grab breakfast then pop right down... More
