This tea room is suitable for impressionable children who don't know better. It is not for true lovers of afternoon tea, or people who care about quality. I give them credit for trying, but it's a half-done effort. I hope they will stay in business long enough to get better, although my overall sense is they just don't care. Our... More

Thank you for your comments. We appreciate hearing from our "guests". Just for your information we have NEVER, NOR WOULD WE EVER take the sampling cans from the golden tea cart and prepare tea from it. That is simply disgusting. At times, we do take the sampling cans into our prep tea room to retreive the actual tea leaves stored... More

The hostess was delightful! Our service was everything one would expect at a fine tea house....tea, scones with jam and lemon curd, 3 types of finger sandwiches, mini cakes and brownies. We ordered two three tier services which contained the food listed above and also ordered three different types of tea. Each service was enough for two adults. We went... More

Wonderful lobster bisque. The prime rib was a little fatty for my taste, but good seasoning. Vegetable medley was done perfectly. Didn't care for the rose champagne sorbet, too flowery in taste, guava or raspberry would have been more to my liking. The chocolate dipped strawberry was delightful as was the Bourbon Street Vanilla tea. Mahalo

Nice idea, but the prices are way out of line for what you get. Have been here twice and both times the tea sandwiches were stale.

Even with a coupon, this is an expensive place to visit. Therefore, the service and food should measure up. They don't.. The tea selection is excellent, but many of the samples smelled stale, rather than fresh. The sandwiches were good but the selection was ham and cheese, fish salad, and cucumber. Nothing special in terms of taste. Th scone was... More

My 8 yr. old daughter and I came across this quaint and elegant spot. I used a Groupon to purchase Princess Heather's tea for two service. The atmosphere was lovely and so was the service. We learned some of the menu services were named after the owners lovely daughters. This place is very cute and a definite must when you... More

I visited A Cup of Tea with a group of my daughter's friends and their moms. We thought it would be fun to have tea, then walk down the street to take a tour of Moana Chocolate Factory. Since we had a large group we opted to reserve the private room. Unfortunately, when you reserve this room you can only... More

This was our second visit. We went to this tea room shortly after it opened and did not have a very good experience. Parking can also be a real pain. However, they offered a Groupon so we thought we would try it again. The service was bumbling and unprofessional. We had a reservation but they had trouble finding it because... More
