I always come here when I have a craving for Japanese food. The sushi is good. The sake selection is good. My favorite is the tonkatsu. Mon-Tue kids eat free.

It has been a few years since we've been to Gyotaku. It has always been our family Japanese restaurant of choice. The restaurant is really run down. The wait help is unprofessional. We could hear them talking out loud and swearing from the back area. A group of them walked through the restaurant looking at customers meals saying that they... More

We always go to Gyotaku Pearl City as our default restaurant for Japanese food. Go early to ensure a short wait for seating. The menu gives you a good variety to choose from. My parents love their Senior menu; it's just the right amount for them to eat. Service is always prompt and courteous.

have to say that everyone was really nice and kind! but my food was cold when served, we told the waiter and he apologized but didn't offer a new meal or even a slight discount. also everything is expensive, even the cheapest main corse costs more than $20.00. will not go there again as the sushi didn't thrill us aswell.

I just had a lunch at Gyotaku, Pearl City today. The restaurant has high ceiling and many windows and interior is most white (ceiling, walls, tables and chairs.) It is very cheerful. Staffs are very friendly. Of course food is great.

If you like Japanese food and sushi, this is a good option to have. It's a little more pricey than you'd think.

Gyotaku Pearl City is one of my favorite places to go for dinner. Besides living in Pearl City and being close to where I live, the food is very good. I love their desserts too. Try their sweet potato pie. Mmmmm. I always the get the combo dishes with soba, sushi, tempura. The have kids night and seniors special, as... More

The only bad thing about this restaurant is they're too slow in seating their customers. Even though you walk in and make reservations early, it takes them about 10-20minutes to sit you even though you have only 2 people.

The restaurant is nice, however not what we expected. The food was nicely presented, but missing some elements of Japanese cuisine; sour ginger, ceramic dishes. We enjoyed the friendly service, atmosphere and easy proximity to our business in Aiea.
